You should try the Equate one, because if you're fair the L'oreal one might be a tad too red for you! Use the L'oreal sublime line during the summer when you already have a darker tan from the sun!

I saw your cleansing video you did, for the products you use (cleanser, toner, serum, etc...) Can I deeply clean my face like that with the self tanners? I feel like all I would be doing is just taking it right off. :0\ Would toner be ok to use? I feel like I am walking on eggshells when self tanning, yet trying to keep my cleansing routine. I get a spray tan and by the 4th day, my legs look cracked and scaly. I moisturize like crazy, but I can't seem to smooth out the cracked look. Any suggestions?
Mellissa Wilson it sounds like the lotion you're using might have mineral oil in it. 1. This is actually bad for your skin and 2. It's 'cracks' your tan.

Don't worry self tanner is not bad for you, if you're wondering the health related risks of fake tanning verses real tanning, real tanning is probably more riskier. Considering you're at risk of getting skin cancer from too much exposure to UVA rays, so I'd say that fake tan is a better alternative if you wanted a glowy tan. Also compared to tanning in the sun, it's great for anti-aging too because your skin isn't exposed to UVA rays. Fake tanning might be something that might be hard to incorporate for some people because if you really want to commit than using it religiously every week might be a hassle for some people, but others might see that it's worth it. It really depends on the person and their opinion, but to answer your question, fake tanning shouldn't harm you, if it does, than it could be an allergic reaction to an ingredient, or it's just a bad product.
