I strongly disagree! Phi pigments, TDP, perma blend are not best advised for beginning microblading technicians. these are organic pigments and are carbon based pigment, brighter and stronger, smaller in molecules and they stay in the body longer and these pigments are less forgiving, if a beginner made mistake then its hard to UN-do and organic pigments will always age cool. It is strongly advised for beginner to use Inorganic pigments ( iron oxide ) they are sheer and lighter. Very ideal for less experienced tech such us LI aqua, Monica Ivani, biotech and etc. because they will fade away quicker although fade warmer BUT they will still fade correctly! If technician is more confident of his/her work and more experienced then can use organic pigments. Microblading will heal ashy and if it goes deeper it will heal more ashy to grey.
I read about this. I am new and did hear that those pigments are healing ashy. I definitely will start out with LI Aqua I just need help figuring out which colors to start with.

Hi Kristy can yo look into the 5 creamy colors of pigments from world microblading? I just watched a few videos on them and they look great. They might be the answer.
I wouldn't say irrelevant .... but there are only 5 colors unlike other brands that offer a wide variety. All colors will look differently on different clients bc of their undertones. 👍🏻
Hey Boss Brows, can I use the grey color by Tina Davies for an older black woman with mature skin? When I checked the color chart by Tina Davies it didn't show her shade. She falls in the shade of caramel.
i am practising microblading for weeks now i tried to tina davis darkbrown on my practice skin. i tried to wash my practice skin with soap and water just what i did to other brand. i am wondering why tina davis turns yellow water and soap wash off its color while other cheap brand looks better than tina color stay on practice skin while tina davis turns yellow.

Hi thanks for your videos.are biotuch pigments good for microblading??I used it and I think it's really good but it will be dark .and how are worldfamous pigments for microblading??
I've been using an ink line that the school I went to supplied. I researched it and it cost $22 a bottle. I've microbladed 5 clients so far and none have retained the ink even after a week :( I'm convinced it's the ink brand. Have you had a similar issue before? Thank you for these videos btw
Hi, usually ink provided by school is temporary so it’s not going to last. You have to buy your ink for clients after you’re done your courses yourself. At least that’s what I learned when I asked my instructor when I took my classes. They don’t want to take a chance by providing permanent ink. Hope that answers your question 🥰
I could see why people say that... All permablend pigments dry VERY fast. BUT. if you stir your pigments every now and then (in your pigment ring) it will be okay. Also, make sure to cover the brows with plastic wrap after doing your pigment mask so the pigment has time to absorb into the skin without drying out. 🙌🏻
Hi! Thank you for your video, that are really helpful. I'm beginner and they help me alot. Did you tried Bio touch pigments or Biomaser pigments please let me know if you did? Thank you

@@bossbrowsla I have the thick pots for microblading. I tried them over an old tattoo, and by the end of the week you couldn't tell i had even touched her. We gave it 4 more weeks for the cuts to heal, then tried the tattoo removal paste process from the kit with the training given. A joke. Nothing changed at all. I did exactly as instructed and even worked with my instructor to see why. No explanation. As far as I can tell, these are really to thick. They just sit on top of the skin and no matter how much cutting or rubbing you do, it really doesn't get in there. If anyone else has has great success, please share and tell me where I went wrong because my instructor couldn't even figure it out.
It wasn't until I paid for the training that I found all too many people reported bad reviews. Even with the better business bureau. After the owner and her hubby slit, all the reviews now state that the company has gone straight to the bottom.

How is healing with Phi Pgments? How long last base on your experience?
the healed results are great. I like phi and permablend pigments 💯
Hi Kristy can yo look into the 5 creamy colors of pigments from world microblading?
I just watched a few videos on them and they look great. They might be the answer.
ill have to check it out. I have never used them.
Is it true that undertones are irrelevant with Phi Pigments?
I wouldn't say irrelevant .... but there are only 5 colors unlike other brands that offer a wide variety. All colors will look differently on different clients bc of their undertones. 👍🏻
Hey Boss Brows, can I use the grey color by Tina Davies for an older black woman with mature skin? When I checked the color chart by Tina Davies it didn't show her shade. She falls in the shade of caramel.
if you want. personally I NEVEr use the grey color. I just have never needed to bc most people don't want grey eyebrows.
Can I use Tina Davis for microblading
hiar by hair machine ?
im not sure what the last part of your question meant?.. but you can use Tina Davies pigments for both microblading and permanent makeup (machine) 👍🏻
Have you ever used the world of microblading brand? If so are they a good brand to use?
no I have not! for pigments?
@@bossbrowsla yes the pigments they use. They are a creamy consistency and they are pre-made aswell.
What about Softap ? I absolutely love their pigments...
I’ll,have to try thrm
have you tried the everlasting brow pigments? If so what do you think of them?
no but i have heard they are good. i stick to my go tos
i am practising microblading for weeks now i tried to tina davis darkbrown on my practice skin. i tried to wash my practice skin with soap and water just what i did to other brand. i am wondering why tina davis turns yellow water and soap wash off its color while other cheap brand looks better than tina color stay on practice skin while tina davis turns yellow.
well they're super pigmented. I would try using green soap to remove it or use no ink synthetic skins. I LOVE practicing with those bc then you don't have to waste your pigments. I sell them on my website. Here is the link ➡️ bossbrowsla.com/shop/ols/products/no-ink-latex-practice-pads-5-pack
and here's a video for the washing 👉🏼ruclips.net/user/shortsncG3IaASiSE
Do you recommend the Phi a brows course? So scared of getting scammed.
Phi is great. so is mine. Both credible. here's the link to mine. 👉🏼 trainlikeaboss.teachable.com
Omg this Tina colors and Permsblend looks like common acrilyc colors ,maybe with some additive. For PMU do you permsnent color as for tatoo or organic faded colors ?
I'm sorry im not sure if its bc of the typos, but can you ask the question again. Not sure I understand what you are asking 😩
Thankss, I was thinking to try phi or Tina Davis . But after watching this video.. phi it is! I ve been using Korean ink (Dr drawing, doreme, cell line)
that's awesome! do you know how to use Phi? I don't have a video on it in my RUclips channel. but I do go over in depth how to use it on my online training course. I also review how to do color corrections with phi 👌🏼 If you are interested in signing up for the Microblading + manual shading course I actually have a mothers day sale going on right now!😍 10% off Online Training (so you save $150). Just use code: MOTHERSWHOSLAY. Here is the link in case you wanna check it out 👉🏼 trainlikeaboss.teachable.com
How do you feel about doreme? And korean brand in general?
@@anabnana23 I am used to it so I like it. I tried phi ink lately, I do think they are more pigmented than the Korea brand. But colors wise, I like Korea brand better, maybe due to our skin tone. If u using manual pen, please try the embo ink, the thicker one. do not try the mix/machine ink, u will hv hard time.
Hi I love your videos! Can I used that box of phi pigments on any skin undertone as long as it obviously matches hair color? I’m fairly new and still learning and exploring colors, just wanted to know if a warm color from this package applied on a warm client will turn red? Thanks
phi is a great line to use especially as a beginner bc its so creamy and user friendly. I go over all of the color theory, color correction and how to use the pigments in my class. I don't have a video on here tho. If you do need more education here is the link to the online course 👉🏼 trainlikeaboss.teachable.com
@@bossbrowsla The course includes how to which pigment line? Tina Davies or Phibrows? I know you use both and i bought both of those two. Thank you! You're such an inspiration Kristi!
Have you tried kp pigments and brow daddy?
brow daddy is by permablend I believe (almost positive) and I haven't used them yet. theyve been sold out. but very similar to all other pigments by permablend. I have not used KP pigments.
Have you tried Scalpa pigments?
no I have not. 😩
Thank you...you help me alot 💞
You are so welcome 😍🤗
Thanks for thst. I did the Phibrows course but now looking to learn the machine forshading and hair strokes. Let me know if you will be offering a course for this. Thanks.
Will do!
What are your thoughts on Brow Daddys gold collection? I hear all the artists rave about it. So far I've only used Phi.
Just started using some of the colors. haven't tried all yet. and they're pretty good! just like permablend. I still think Tina Davies is the best/easiest due to the super rad color chart that comes with the pack. 💯
Can you use these pigments with micro shading and ombré brows?
phi can be used for microblading and you an use it for manual shading but you cannot use it for machine shading. the other pigments can be used for both.
@@bossbrowsla But if I use phi thinner with supe pigments then I can use in the machine?
Phi angle or U blade which is your preference? 🙏🏻
U blade all the way. but thats just my preference 😍 I actually have a video on why. 👉🏼 ruclips.net/video/EZYAPBTt7Os/видео.html
Thank you for making these videos ❤ 🙌
Have you tried Madluvv ink?
If so, what are your thoughts on that brand?
Not yet! ive been pretty happy with permablend and Tina Davies
could you please share all the tools you use for working? Besides the pigments, the microblading pen, needles etc... Thank you
So I get tools from many different websites. I sell some of the items I use. Can be found here 👉🏻 bossbrowsla.com/online-store
and then here’s my Amazon shopping list for other random items 👉🏻 www.amazon.com/ideas/amzn1.account.AE2ONGGTG3DCLRROOVEXXP6UMZZQ/14EGJ77MFA3K9
I also like Tina Davies for pigments and aftercare and phishop.com for pigments and tons of tools and blades. They’re awesome. 👍🏻
Hi how I Wii get trening with you I'm from India
I have an online training. many people all over the world have taken my training. Here is the link to sign up 👉🏼 trainlikeaboss.teachable.com
Cant wait to have you train with us 🤩🤩
Thank you so much it was really helpful ❤️❤️❤️
You’re welcome 😊 thank you for watching
Amazing explanation ❤
Glad you liked it
Bec can u pls tell me about this brand used for Microblading
was that question directed to me?
My eyebrow artist did mine with PHI and it turns out grey/ash color after a healing
How long has it been? I would see if she could do a color corrector.
Hey kristi! I was wondering do you still use phinrows as often or do you find yourself using Tina Davies more? I’m curious to try phibrows pigments however there isn’t much information out there on how to use them especially mainly for corrections.
There’s a great chart on how to use phi brows pigments for corrections. I go over all of that in my online training. 💯🤗 but I like to use Tina Davies and permablend for my machine work. The phi pigments are too thick and creamy
May I ask if I can use Tina Davis Shading solution with any other ink brand??
I don't think you're supposed to mix the different pigment brands. Like using phi with Tina Davies wouldn't be recommended.
Have you noticed when you use the browns in the tina davies collection, they look red? Why is it
immediately after they look very red but that will change once healed. she has a great article about the redness on her website. I would def check it out. ✅
did you try Everlasting pigments?
I have not but ive heard of them an have used some of their other supplies. 🤩✌🏼
Do you have a recommendation for a universal color chart for pigments?
I'm not sure what you mean? different pigment lines will have their own color charts. Some are better than others. My favorite is Tina Davies.. but that color chart only applies to HER pigment line. sorry I couldn't be more helpful
I love Tina Davies
ME TOO!! shes awesome!
Do you ever use SofTap pigments?
no I haven't... do you like them?
Can you tint your eyebrows with micro blading pigment
no. They are different.
Hi thanks for your videos.are biotuch pigments good for microblading??I used it and I think it's really good but it will be dark .and how are worldfamous pigments for microblading??
I don't use either of those, I've heard some good things about biotuch but no personal experienced.
Hi x would you try LI Pigments, Aqua? X
personally, I don't use them anymore... I think there are better pigments out there that heal better over time.
@@bossbrowsla thank you x
I've been using an ink line that the school I went to supplied. I researched it and it cost $22 a bottle. I've microbladed 5 clients so far and none have retained the ink even after a week :( I'm convinced it's the ink brand. Have you had a similar issue before? Thank you for these videos btw
I think we spoke on instagram. did I answer all of your questions ?
Hi, usually ink provided by school is temporary so it’s not going to last. You have to buy your ink for clients after you’re done your courses yourself. At least that’s what I learned when I asked my instructor when I took my classes. They don’t want to take a chance by providing permanent ink. Hope that answers your question 🥰
some say if one works slow, its best not to deal with Tina D. Dries out too fast. . Do you agree, pls?
I could see why people say that... All permablend pigments dry VERY fast. BUT. if you stir your pigments every now and then (in your pigment ring) it will be okay. Also, make sure to cover the brows with plastic wrap after doing your pigment mask so the pigment has time to absorb into the skin without drying out. 🙌🏻
@@bossbrowsla im looking for a hybrid that is under 30$ or so, can you pls recommend any such brand?
Hi!
Thank you for your video, that are really helpful.
I'm beginner and they help me alot.
Did you tried Bio touch pigments or Biomaser pigments please let me know if you did?
Thank you
I'm glad you like the videos. I have not tried those pigments 😔 I do go over pigments, color theory and color corrections in my online course if you're looking for more info. here is the link 👉🏼 trainlikeaboss.teachable.com
Great video. Can you tell me is phi pigment synthetic or organic?
Thanks
synthetic
What about softap? Are they good? I love your videos ❤️ they have helped me so much!!
Yes they are! and thank you! 🙏
Unfortunately I can't order for Phibrows pigments in Nigeria 😭
bummer. im sorry
I love your videos, thanks for the information a question have you ever used PP pigments??
PP pigments? Not sure I’ve heard of it. I’m sorry
so helpful
So glad!
has anybody tried BEAUTY ANGELS pigments?
i don't think ive ever heard of that. i'll check it out though. do you like it?
Please make a review of biomaser pigments specialially their bleaching agent that can erase unwanted line
ooo thats a good one. so personally don't use biomaser. However, familiar with the product. Do you use the pigmetns?
Bio touch
Is good too
good to know, ive heard great things but haven't tried it yet. 👍🏻
Thank you, I’ve been debating on getting the Tina Davies pigments for months. I was really concerned about the color staying true. You definitely helped my decision:)
love Tina Davies pigments.
I keep hearing they are too watery.
I love phi pigments and I’m curious about permablend but I noticed that a lot of arists Thai use them they’re work heals ashy 😓
Microblading can heal ashy over time which is why you may need to modify when doing a color boost.
Thank you so much ma’am,no need for me to take a course like this,.much love from Ph 🇵🇭
You’re welcome 😊
I would like to see your take on world microblading pigments. There's thick ones in a pot and thiner ones that seem to be for pmu
yes i'm curious to try those myself. Have you used them?
@@colleenjarman6115 good to know. I’m curious why your trainer had you use that pigment line if she wasn’t too familiar with it. 🤔
@@bossbrowsla it came in the training kit. Then, a trainer is assigned to you.
It wasn't until I paid for the training that I found all too many people reported bad reviews. Even with the better business bureau. After the owner and her hubby slit, all the reviews now state that the company has gone straight to the bottom.
Isn't microblading a technique that is a part of permanent makeup?
yes. its just a manual form of putting pigment into the skin. 👍🏻
Do you remove old eyebrow tattoos? If you do what do you use?
I do not but I recommend laser removal or saline removal
