    My story is very similar to yours. I had my first touch up last week and went home and cried. I feel like I have idea what I'm doing and I can't afford anymore training right now. I've been a makeup artist for 15yrs but this is totally different. It's also completely different working on real skin as opposed to the fake skin. My brows look great on the fake skin but I'm so lost when it comes to working on an actual client. I know it takes time, patience and practice but I'm scared to ruin someone's brows. I feel defeated.

      Girl I definitely know what you're going through. it will be okay though ... okay so I would definitely recommend doing another training. its the only thing that helped me. I offer online training and payment plans. you could pay it off in 6 months and it will go over everything. you could pay as little as $300 today and get started today on it. let me know if you have any questions. here is the link for the Art of Microblading -trainlikeaboss.teachable.com If you have any questions feel free to reach out. I know it can be frustrating but you got this!

      Hi Tai, I'm in this exsact situation as this at the moment. I just got certified and I feel like every set I do I hate even more. Love my latex work but just can't put that onto skin. How did things end up going for you?

      Hi Ladies! I’m on the same boat. Took a training, invested all my saving setting up my home office and getting licensed and insured. I’ve brought some models in but I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing. One of my models posted a photo online on a fb group and everyone was talking crap about them. I wasted a whole day crying, in bed, without eating cause I felt terrible. I just wanted to quit but feel like I can’t cause I spent all my families saving on this. I have to make it happen. My model is very supportive and says she loves her brows, so I’m grateful for that but I know I need more experience

    I have a month left of microblading training, today I tried working on real skin but I just couldn’t, I stopped on my third stroke. Did not think I could finish it and didn’t want to ruin my mother’s brows, she’s in her late 50s. 😩I don’t want to give up because I invested a lot but I need more training. ☹️ online is not enough. I love your videos by the way!

    Thanks for this video. I love your videos! I have a similar story when I was getting my first training. The instructor was actually experienced PMU artist. But I think she didn't do much research on her PMU pigments. While she gave me great information, I don't think I was able to get enough information. I never found microblading is easy. It's so difficult! Since then, I've taken few Tina Davies' online video courses. But I do need to take in person class, as well. I don't even know how to do colour correction. So that's something i need to learn more.

    Sounds like my tattoo school. In Oregon you have to have a tattoo license to microblade, it costs 10k and youre suppose to spend 150 hours tattooing. I did 2 sets of eyebrows and my instructor signed me off to the state saying I finished all my hours and she wasnt even present during the procedures.

    Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge! Did you ever have a clients powder brow heal with one thicker then the other and is this an easy fix? Being a new PMU artist can be so scary and sometimes you just want to give up but watching your videos really helps to just keep going and realize that everyone makes mistakes as a new artist

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  3 года назад +1

      OF COURSE! its so scary. but you gotta practice and when you make a mistake- learn from it. 🤗 If one is thicker then you will have to make the smaller one thicker to match it.

    Woww this Video changed my thoughts!!! I am a designer and artist… but what you said is exactly how I felt!! I thought it would be easy for me!! But man you are right! Then I stopped doing it! But I had this passion inside me that I can do it!! I’m practicing again and keep practicing and watching videos! But this one is absolutely nailed it.
    I do have a question please
    Photos!! My picture are not greats as after pictures looks red as my daughter describe them scary!!! 😅 but when I see other artist pictures looks so much better more lighter no redness!
    What do you recommend to help me get better results.

      I dont do removal but am trained to do saline removal. The training I did you would need a tattoo license bc of the machine you’re using. I’m not sure about laser. I’m assuming you would need to get educated on how to use the laser machine though.

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  3 года назад

      Oh my gosh. Some people say it doesn’t hirt at all. I use a numbing cream which minimizes the discomfort. The artist may have not been practicing proper technique. You really need to hold the skin super taught so it doesn’t move otherwise it will hurt more 😩 personally have had the services done many times and it’s not bad at all. (And I’m a wimp. Lol) I will say the machine shading hurts a little more. Kinda feels tender like a sun burn.

    Hi, this video was sooooo helpful, Thank you!! Can you recommend a couple of companies to order pigment?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  4 года назад +6

      Yes I can! In my online course we go over color theory and how to use the Phi pigments. This is not only a very reputable brand with amazing healed results but very user friendly. super creamy and easy to use. If you are more advanced and want to try some other brands I would also recommend I ❤️ Ink by Tina Davies and Permablend pigments. Theyre. amazing and I love the color chart that the Tina Davies line comes with however they can be a little more difficult to use. Theyre super watery so it can be messy (I've def had a few accidents...lol) The pigments also dry out super fast so its important that you work faster and constantly clean your blade so it doesn't get all crusty.
