      trust me! im working on it. its not as easy as you think to find someone with absolutely no brow hair. A lot of my older brow mapping videos were done on mannequin heads or two of my besties bc of the covid craziness. but im currently looking for someone who will let me film them (who has no hair). However, with that being said... all of the brow mapping techniques that I teach are still relevant. It's not just about the client's hair but a lot to do with feeling the brow bone and following that as a guide. I actually go over all of this in my Brow Mapping bible online course. Here is the link if you want to check that out. ➡️ trainlikeaboss.teachable.com/p/brow-mapping-bible

    This is SO helpful thank you! Mapping terrifies me, I know it has to be 100% right and I can see how I want the pre draw to look but when I do it, it just doesn't come up to my expectations. I can't wait to do my next pre draw after watching this, thanks for sharing all your tips and tricks.

    Hello,
    I have a question, please!
    How we can find the correct point depending individual features of the baseline of the eyebrows? Where the eyebrows should start as the base, in case the person doesn't have any hair in the eyebrows? And also the highest point?
    Thank you

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  2 года назад +1

      That's a great question. So everyone has a brow bone which is what I use to help get a proper feel for where the baseline should start. I show you the trick I use in this video ➡️ruclips.net/video/GeRJuBZViIw/видео.html
      2:18 (for the baseline) and 3:45 for the upper arch. Hopefully that helps. If you have any other questions please don't hesitiate to ask. 📧 kristi@bossbrowsla.com
      I also have a brow mapping online course which is a great aid to learn more more mapping tricks and im actually doing a 20% off sale to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Just use coupon code: 5YEAR at checkout. Here is the link 👉🏼 trainlikeaboss.teachable.com

    Thank you for this! I'm still a little confused on how to string map on asymetrical brows....I think it's best to go with the natural shape and not try to make them perfectly match, but with string mapping, you are trying to make the boxes even right? So with someone with very uneven brows do you just forget about that and connect the points anyway?!

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  2 года назад +1

      I go over all of this in great detail... the theory of symmetry and how to "IMPROVE" symmetry (bc its impossible for eyebrows to ever be perfectly symmetrical... our bodies are just too asymmetrical) different brow mapping techniques and how to brow map in different situations, etc. in my NEW online brow mapping bible. its an online course done at your own pace. Even comes with a little brow mapping kit and workbook 💯 Here is the link ➡️trainlikeaboss.teachable.com/p/brow-mapping-bible
      This would be really helpful for you 🤗 and try not to focus so much on perfect symmetry.. but what is going to look good on the client and framing the EYES instead which means the brows should be parallel to the eyes NOT THE GROUND..which I feel like thats what most people think.

    Can you map someone without perfect eyebrows?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  2 года назад +1

      are you asking if it's possible? or if I can physically film me mapping someone without perfect brows? lol not sure I understand. But you can absolutely map anyone. Some people will be harder. I have a ton of videos on my RUclips of me mapping people. and although, some of my videos are on mannequin heads (hard to film people during quarantine...lol) and some are of my friend who's eyebrows I have microbladed... but that doesn't mean the rules and tips aren't the same. They can be applied to anyone. I do have different tips and tricks that can be applied depending on the different circumstances you will encounter as a PMU artist. If you look on my channel I have an entire section dedicated to just brow mapping. Or if you want more guided support, I launched an AMAZING online course for brow mapping called "the Brow Mapping Bible". it comes with a mini kit too and its only $250. plus you have unlimited access so whenever I add more videos or tips, you will have access to new material. 💯 Here is the link ➡️ trainlikeaboss.teachable.com/p/brow-mapping-bible

    I’m confused about the symmetry on the eyes, is this all explained throughly in your mapping course?

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  2 года назад +1

      Yeah it is a little confusing but basically you want to find a balance of framing the eyes as well as keeping them as symmetrical as possible. One of the first lectures in the Brow mapping class goes over the theory of symmetry 💯💯

    Many clients get freaked out when they take their first look at the brow mapping and I always have to explain to them that this is not how dark their brows are going to be and that it is just for them to be able to see the shape that it will be. Is that normal?🥴

    • @bossbrowsla
      @bossbrowsla  2 года назад

      TOTALLY NORMAL! so what I like to do is very lightly fill in the eyebrows with a brown pencil so they don't have to look at the "negative space" the pre-draw creates... instead, they can better see the shape when its lightly filled in. Here is a video where I show how to do that.. ➡️ ruclips.net/video/GeRJuBZViIw/видео.html
      (Go to 10:26 to see what Im talking about... although this is a GREAT video to watch from beginning to end also 👍🏻)
