If you make curved roads try to follow the curvature of the map. When you have a hill for example, follow the curvature of the slopes. You can see the lines on the soil on the map and try to follow them. That is more realistic and happened in real life. Anyway i 'm not against straight roads in the city centers especially. With curved roads you waste too much space and in late game with bigger cities you will see that more clear.
I've had this game since the very release and only played like 4 mins until a few days ago. I learned that you can drain your animal deposit and had to lose all my work and restore a game save. I also learned I have a few rich deposits that everyone goes crazy for already on my map. I might start over though after finding out that my map save is from the VERY beginning of the game and they recommend re-creating game saves after major updates.
Nu är morotskungen i farten igen, både ordinarie morötter och uppochnnervända(träd). Now the carrot king is at it again, both ordinary carrots and upside down (trees).
new to the channel, just subscribed yesterday.... im somewhat new to the game as well. im starting a map doing exactly what you did in this video, hopefully it works out well! :)
To me, it looks like they messed up the economy. Trading is nerfed even more; with 4 imports and 15 exports, I'm always at 0 treasury and I have a huge debt with the king, not to mention I can't colonize any other region. And I import only resources and export all finished products and weapons. Pigs, chickens, and goats are basically pets: I hardly see any production. Vegetables are still produced in great numbers but deplete very quickly, probably because of the new spoilage mechanics. I have granaries everywhere filled with workers but there is never food inside, only flour, and the bakers in the communal ovens are playing cards most of the time. Last winter, I had 0 of all food sources, 300 flour, and -11 eggs (??). I uninstalled the game and will try again in the next big update.
Thanks for the content When I was playing, I got too stuck on min/maxing which I think is needed to stay ahead of the Baron militarily. I tried going back to a no Baron casual run, but I was still too much in my head. It’s one of the difficulties I have with city builders.
@@GamingNorse thanks for the encouragement. For me, it’s not an issue of the game is difficult. I just get too stuck in my head of how to win the game, but I end up not enjoying the game in the process.
@@jvoodoochild2755 I agree, though I can't quite explain it. For me, it seems like the game itself is still searching for a purpose. Is it a survival game? City Builder? RTS? It feels like it's trying to be all three, and none of them, all at the same time. I love the concept, and I do have fun when playing it...but, I can't help but see the Baron as nothing more than an hourglass letting you know how fast or slow your progress is. IE, the Baron's plot has not been fleshed out in the slightest. Like I said, I don't know how to quite explain it, but the game itself still feels like it's searching for it's own meaning.
It would be great honestly if the dev let's us select what resource we want to start with. I usually have a plan in my head what kind of town I want and what I want to produce. Restarting 10x doesn't feel that good.
@@medicann_coping small plot (enough backyard space for the chicken coop not too big tho cause you'll just get dead space unlike the vedgie farms that uses all the space of the backyard, somewhere the size of a grannary or storehouse ) with 2 housing space for 2 families to live early on even for a lvl 1 burgage plot for efficient egg production, great building for multiple line or whichevers more efficient that can reach ur market for availability but i think theres some more efficient way for more efficient yields for eggs, so far this is the only setup I've tried that keeps my food availability up to 80ish along with the rest of the food source
you are so underrated. you deserve at least 10k subs. til valhalla!
You're too nice! Thank you!! 🙏🙏

Very very true! I might change it up a bit. Especially later in the game. Thank you so much 🙏

I also heard it's best to restart. Might be a lot of bugs otherwise

Good luck with the game! And thank you for supporting the channel 😊🙏

I agree that Pigs and goats are to nerfed. Maybe it's more realistic, since there is only 3 goats or Pigs. But then add more Pigs to us lol
Perfect start indeed
Right!

I'm glad you like it!
It's a bit hard in the beginning but I'm sure you will learn more and more and then it's pretty easy :)

That's a pretty good point.
how can i have vegeteble surplus ? i set vegetable plots on maybe 20 burgage plots, and im always on 0 vegetable
make it big, like 2 corpse pit size, the yield depends on how big the vedgetable farms is but also takes time to harvest
Make them huge like the size of a farm
fukc it, make it as huge as the entire region
@@jupsking5339 how about the chicken coop, whats the harvest size/time comparison, is the passive yeald fast if bigger plot ?

Why do you restart your housing blueprint instead of rotating it when you're trying to fit it optimally?
Hahah. You know what... I have actually know idea why.. 😅 I even know you can press the turn button so I really don't know.. Thanks for reminding me 🙏
you can fit 3 mining pits on the deposit
How?!?! I need help lol
@@GamingNorse I guess you keep trying until you be able to fit 3 of them it looks like pyramid at the end two at the bottom and one above them
nice 😉
Thank you! 😊
please dont build grid cityies
efficiency is not over beuty
I am trying my hardest! 🙏😊
