When is Wegovy going to be available in the U.S. again for first time users. Seems funny that they can’t keep up with demand on something that helps keep people healthy. There is more money in the meds that keep them overweight and unhealthy. That’s all I can think of. It’s been months ive been waiting for a first dose and my insurance approved it! No words.
I waited months for my first dosage, it was on back order at every pharmacy but i just got my prescription filled this week. i would call around now if i were you!

Im dibetic and need this bevause i was overwight and hyperblood pressure and high clostrol but i have nodular thyroeid which control by FNA
The comment about causing cancer in rats is true, however humans do not have these same receptors as rats and that is why thyroid cancer hasn't been an issue & mostlikely will " NOT " be an issue in humans,,, but because it did effect rats in the study it must be mentioned.

You said back pain and I had not heard anyone say this. I have horrible back pain since I have been in ozempic but I have also fallen and so I wonder which one is it.
At three minutes and 27 seconds (3:27) you say, "It's very unlikely you will gain weight." Was this a misquote? If it's very unlikely you'll gain weight, why is it important for counselling? Am I misunderstanding something?
Otherwise, I love the video and I needed to hear this. My doctor has prescribed to me Ozempic for weight loss (along with weight counseling). I was wondering why she didn't prescribe Wegovy to me even after I specifically requested Wegovy. I am not diabetic. Maybe because I'm in the U.S. and not in the UK? Interesting.

Thank you for your valuable comment. Stopping Semaglutide will result in weight gain and this is why counselling will be important. In the UK the new “NEWS” is that the role out availability has been delayed…. Updates to follow.

Can anyone take Ozempic for weight loss
In the UK the medication is restricted to morbidity related weight control.
In the USA, I believe l, many celebrities take it for weight control! As a physician I do not support the latter use until we understand the long term effects of the drug
I have 2 questions. I’m a 15 year old with a lot of weight problems, I’m 250 lbs but I’m 5’9” so my bmi is 38. My first question: should I talk to my doctor about wegovy to help me lose weight? And second question, is it still possible to keep the weight off, assuming I go to counseling to help me after I stop taking wegovy? Thanks for the informational video!

Unless you learn how to eat properly, the weight will come back when the drug isnt being used
