While I still have problem with counting and making life/death, I have become much more strategic for my rank thanks to your videos. I used to watch popcorn entertainment (YT shorts etc.) while eating (a bad habit of mine), and now I just watch how you play. It's not only entertaining, but is clearly affecting my own play (I find myself scaring my usual 7-11k opponents with having too much potential, which sometimes forces them to go deep and desparate). I used to see my 5-7k opponents as strong, but now I just see them weak and myself simply lacking some reading. Thank you!

Really happy to hear that! Making this kind of impact on a viewer is the most I can hope for, so hearing this kind of comment makes it all worth while :)
      Thanks for watching & commenting!

Just started playing and it is so educational to hear your thoughts as you make your moves and as you analyse your opponent's moves. Much of it is obviously far out of my ability to understand, but it's helping me build a better framework on how to *look* at things and how to think about them. Subscribed!

The trash compactor scene is in SW episode IV (1977) 😁😂🤓

Ahhhh true true, well in my heart it's called episode 2 because the other 3 don't exist!

Normally with the shape for white in the top right corner, instead of doing a heavy double tiger mouth with p15, it's better to play something like o15. If black cuts, you have a driving tesuji sacrificing one or two stones

The old joseki was more as I played it though, I was just forcing myself to play oldschool for the sake of oldschool, for the account name :) But also, connecting the stones more solidly has more impact on black's corner life and death, so it also changes how black has to play.
Thanks for watching and commenting! :3
