Get well soon Rambo, I am retired from UPS after 35.5 years wrestling & delivering pkgs and an avid motorcycling enthusiast. Several years ago I ruptured L4 L5 & S1. After injection treatments directly into my lower back I’m all good! Every few years it will act up but I’m good. I thoroughly enjoy your videos sir & get well soon!

Hang in there...last year I broke my leg and severed my ACL. I couldn't ride for 7 months and it took nearly 8 months just to walk normally - post reconstruction surgery. It definitely affected my lower back but I can now ride the Multistrada again. Hang in there!!!

I've had 4 lower lumbar surgeries for this same issue, had Covid for the first time over Christmas (it was awful), ride a '22 V4S, and I live in Tallahassee. You have my empathy and sympathy there brother.

Hey Rembo! I also ride (2021 Z H2) and have a herniated disc in the L5 S1 region. I am 32 years old and know your pain. I found your channel looking for a phone mount and I am glad I did. I felt isolated by my injury, so thank you for sharing your story. Not many people talk about having physical injuries as motorcycle enthusiasts. So maybe while you are recovering there's a new market for you to explore.. It has been a long road to recovery but I love to ride! I hope you get well soon maybe I'll see you around when I'm in the Sunshine State! 👍🏾

Get well soon! No back surgeries but I recently had a torn labrum (shoulder) and couldn't ride for over 3 months. Should have waited longer but that was as long as I could wait! Also ride a '23 Multi V4S and live in Colorado. Hope to see you out on the roads here one day!

It’s currently Zero degrees here in Scotland, my v4 pikes peak is covered up for winter. I did manage to get out New Year’s Day , it was 5 degrees Celsius heading out, soon dropped to 0 degrees as I took the twisties past Loch Lomond, heading further north. Most of my pretty short ride was at zero . I was pretty warm , grips on ,seat on full etc. not riding January ,February hurts. First 10 degree Celsius day , I’m out, can’t wait. Thought you’d been pretty quiet lately . All the best for 2024 young man . 👍👍

Hey Stallion! Thanks so much for sharing. Yup, back injuries, no bueno. Sounds like you have the right attitude and are on the road to recovery! Good to hear as it is inspirational! My injury occurred years ago, lifting and twisting over with my then infant daughter. Finally got over it when I moved to Cali and took up surfing. The swimming motion really made a difference, aside from the exercise, I think the motion being in the water was the trick. Going forward, developed the mantra, a healthy back is a strong back. At the risk of saying the wrong thing and apologize in advance as you appear to be in charge of your physical fitness and take it seriously, recommend a good back routine, including deadlifts. That said, I am sure you have a plan and are looking forward to getting healthy as it will happen!
Take care brother and thank you again for posting, it always good to hear from you!

Experienced a URD at 65 mph on the interstate 3 years ago. 2 piece leather suit, air bag, race boots and gloves, Arai helmet riding a Panigale V4S (that was stolen 20 mins later lol)
Reconstructed left rotator cuff, reattached left bicep, compressed T5 through T7/small stress fracture on T6, partially torn LCL right leg, minor vitreous detachment in left eye (permanent black spot in vision), mild concussion.
I am mostly rebuilt and recovered now. Recovery and therapy was about 9 to 10 months from the accident, but this year I'm pursuing stem cell treatments for the knee and other arthritic areas to get my body from high mileage/used car status to certified pre-owned status. 😅
Lesson learned: no matter how safe, geared up and well trained as a rider you think you are, there are always going to be people with less attention and training and concern to test you in their beater with a heater.
Hope you mend quickly Rembo, cheers!

Mate. pikes peak is a bit harsh on the back.
I have had all those issues. After back surgery I got a genius physio. Try this he said it works on 85% of all his patients with our lower back issues. It’s really strange.Do psoas muscle stretches and the cobra stretch. It seem funny stretching out you stomach to fix your back but it worked for so many

So far my back is fine. I got a bum leg from hitting a corn fed deer the size of an elk at 60 mph ten years ago. Unfortunately, it doesn't get any better, but like the rest of me falls apart a little more every year. I resolve to ride faster. Einstein said that will make me last longer than the rest of ewes.

Hey buddy, ride the Ducati monster 1200, met you up at Jennings. I’m a physical therapist with three bulging discs in my back, one completely prolapsed if I stay on my exercise program I’m good. It’s a matter of rest, and then getting on the right exercise program afterwards.

Hey Brother! I’m so sorry to hear you’re having health issues. I have a weak back myself and If I don’t work it, I get a back bow and serious pain. I had noticed you were off FB and sent you a PM. If you need anything at all, just holla! I’m retired now (since 1/31) and I have the time. Meanwhile, feel better and get well soon! PS, trying to get my H-D buddies to go to COTA as MotoAm KOTB are now part of the GP race WE.

Oh Rembo, what are you doing to yourself mate..... errr, I can't take the moral high ground, with a ruptured ACL (1986 knee into errant motorists car fender with spiral over hood & headfirst slide down bitumen road), a Ti hip in 2020 fixed the pain from a worn out hip (due that same incident 35yrs before), but the neck & back pain I must live with.
Luckily a decent ride on my V4MS is good physiotherapy! It makes me sit straight and hold my pelvic floor muscles firm 😁. That helps keep the lower back pain in check.........
I try to stay fit, though I put a few kilos on during the covid years 😱.
Anyway, now we know you're still around, we'll be ready for you when you start producing new content 🤞
All the best for recovery from way down under......✌️Dave
