  • Sailing our Amel Super Maramu from Great Barrier Island, across the Hauraki Gulf to Auckland. We use our Asymmetric Spinnaker, then our Amel Ballooner, then a glamour reach into the harbour.

      @billhanna8838 Hey Bill, you are right mate. Having the boat in the groove like that is a great feeling. Was a nice finish to a beautiful day.

    Sounds like 30 knots later in the video! That AC40 was cracking on some pace! One was timed at 50 plus knots recently!

      @davidi4306 Hey David, yes it looked windier than it was but I think it got up to low 20's as we came into Auckland Harbour. Wait till you see the next video with the AC40. What they can do with that boat, and the speeds they do it at, is breathtaking. It was a real treat being close to them on the water when they were out practising.
