They are awesome cameras...A cool piece of history....The Russians gave one to President Carter as a diplomatic present and it was said that he went all over the White House shooting it during his administration...LOL!
These turned out pretty cool Andrew! We need to do another photo session using 'point and shoot cameras' and make it a minimalist photo session. Love the scenery! Great job as per usual! I just wish I lived closer! Hahaha! Not a huge fan of black and white shooting landscape but the near end shots turned out beautiful! C'est la vie.
Those swing lens cameras are so crazy, the images looked great though especially the color roll. Btw you could afford an Xpan, just sell some digital stuff!
Hi Andrew! Do you have any help filming these videos? It boggles my mind how you can: 1) manage your kids, 2) take (good) pictures and 3) document everything. Congrats! By the way, you are a great photographer, but your an AMAZING videographer 🎖️🎖️🎖️
ive owned the Horizon 202 for 20+ years and love it. its limitations are endearing and just force you to work around. its in a box with my Lomo LCA and Holga ;-)
I own a hasselblad xpan and admittedly it's great, but honestly, for analog shooters in a digital age, I think the horizon camera would be a more creative tool.
I'm using a Horizon S3 Pro since 2005 without any problems. Some people modified the filters to make customized varieties. I personally bought two custom made filters an 81B warming and one dark red filter for infrared photography from a person in Netherlands
nice work, I've owned two Horizon's in the past. They're fun cameras. How did you scan the negs? I've used my V500 before but your panos seemed pretty clean all the way thru, even with that old film. Great job on your video too, looking nice and sharp, dig that fuji look.
Thanks Pat. They are very fun cameras. I usually develop and scan myself, but this time I was about to head out of town for a week and I just didn't have time. I wanted them done when I got back, so I used some folks locally who are excellent: thefindlab.com/
I have one box left and I need to shoot it this year! Amazing results Andrew! I almost forgot you had this film. Love the results! Did you scan them your self? We need to do another photo duel.
I love using this camera - it’s fun! I even was able to pull stuff off of it in the darkroom after shooting B&W iso 100 ilford film. Can’t wait to take it out with me again $
I saw another review of this camera where the person says the camera destroys Foma film. How did the rest of your Kosmo roll turn out? Any damage? Thanks
A panoramic camera allows one to see hoizon to horizon.;) This reminds me of the "wide field" cameras (6X18, for example) that began with Simon Nathan's "SimonWide" of the late 1960's. Or, the spring-motor-driven "banquet cameras" of the 1940's.
I was thinking you were in southern Utah. Then I seen a, (one of many) Temple. Knew you were. Confirmed in the description. St. George is gorgeous. Try to get down at least once a year.
that "Flare" is freakin awesome!! also, is there any focal length on that horizon? because you have wider angle like panoramic and medium shot. is that cropped?
Hi, have you considered getting adaptors for medium format cameras for 35mm film to do panos? Much cheaper and you can carry one camera and do both regular ratio shots with 120 and panos on 35mm.
Just got the Horizon 202. I love it and can't put it down. But I've noticed the image get's pretty soft on the right side of the photo. Not a game changer, but something I noticed. Anyway, awesome video.
For a camera of this kind it takes quite sharp images, I expected to see some more "soft" results. I have the XPan, I've bought it years ago when the price was still ok, but this camera would be my choice of today, if I would not have the XPan.
If you want X-pan, get an RB67 or any 120 cam and a 35mm adapter. Does the exact same thing as an X-pan for a lot less money
Always nice to see coverage of this camera... It's one of the ones on my "I sure wouldn't mind one of those" lists
Time well spent, some great shots Andrew. I think it's a keeper and it never hurts to step outside your comfort zone and try something different.

Hilarious! I had not heard that.
He was trying to capture a picture of the infamous swamp rabbit!, it followed him home from the lake to the White House!

A quick notice, kosmo is fomapan. But the German Kodak film looks amazing, great video man. I like it!
Blast that fomapan! Creeps its way into every promising looking branding packaging it can.
Amazing video! happy kids makes it so pleasent to watch! the video was filmed by fuji xt 10?
Really cool look at the panoramic camera. You have a fantastic eye - I'm really loving your work!

Haha. Thanks Luri. Yup. Just me. A lot of multitasking.
Absolutely loved this!! You got some awesome shots in there too :-)

its great to see you enjoying beautiful southern utah, also great photos my friend.
Wow that camera is soooooo dope. I love oddities like that! Have you seen that 3d film camera? I think it's the Nashika N8000
Yes, but never shot with it.
A new film camera video! Awesome!!
I own a hasselblad xpan and admittedly it's great, but honestly, for analog shooters in a digital age, I think the horizon camera would be a more creative tool.
Your videos are very nice man. I also enjoy your photos very much. Good job!
Thanks Efstathios

wow really perfect i am surprised reeally surprised

You should check out the Noblex cameras. They are very similar but in medium format.

Are you in Utah?
喜歡,照片很美,影片剪輯清楚,背景音樂好聽!!
谢谢!

I'm not sure what you mean. I shot some photos with my x-t20. So some were digital. Is that what you're asking?
I like your pictures !
Hi, have you considered getting adaptors for medium format cameras for 35mm film to do panos? Much cheaper and you can carry one camera and do both regular ratio shots with 120 and panos on 35mm.
Is there anywhere in particular you had the film developed?
The B&W I develop myself. Color film I send to The Find Lab.
Just got the Horizon 202. I love it and can't put it down. But I've noticed the image get's pretty soft on the right side of the photo. Not a game changer, but something I noticed. Anyway, awesome video.
that's because you load the film incorrectly. Search for the original manual and everything's gonna be OK
Interesting camera.
great camera from the past.
Not quite the same, but focus stacking on the Sony's might not be such a crazy expense as other medium format cameras.
For a camera of this kind it takes quite sharp images, I expected to see some more "soft" results.
I have the XPan, I've bought it years ago when the price was still ok, but this camera would be my choice of today, if I would not have the XPan.
How many shots can this camera make out of a normal 36 roll film? It looks wider than a xpan.
It'll shoot 23 frames.
What's the tune?
The first one
See description
Cool. Now take it out for multiple exposures :)
Check out Noblex camera..It's Horizon on steroids :)
Oh I've seen them, and also the price tags. ;)
Denae & Andrew yeah more than xpan:-) but you can still shot 35mm in some medium format cameras
Why 60fps though
It's a film camera. It doesn't shoot 60p. ;)
@@AndrewGoodCamera lol I meant the actual video. Love your work!
@@fabipuello I know. I'm just messing with you. ;)
Farbwelt = color world (world of colors?)
The KosmoFoto is just repackaged Fomapan...
Farbwelt = color world
