Those wheels are the raddest wheels I’ve ever seen, this car also suits them perfectly. Perfect combo of old school DRAG and Modern, and so is the Chevy.
This is probably my favorite car you guys have shot in a while. I really like the old school look and feel with all the newer tech absolutely killer intake design. Drives like new looks like old pro street. Badd ass work guys! Thanks for filming this one Shawn!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE how hard this car can be driven and just begs for more! Every restomod/custom car needs to be able to handle this type of abuse. Bravo! And launches so hard with just 450 WHP, amazing!
I truly love this build and love how the builder does everything in-house with quality! Most builders farm out work that is above them or out of their roundhouse, but this shop does it all! He freaking did the wheel alignment for Christ sake! 😮 I hope the next iteration of this car will either be a 4" stroke and a 6-speed transmission.
1st it's a Nova SS ✔️ It's pro street ✔️ It sounds phenomenal ✔️ It has an LS poking through the hood ✔️ yep it checks all the boxes on the Old School Cool list 👍
Paul and Old Anvil did it again! This Nova is so elegant and badass that it made me keep staring at it. The attention to detail is seamless, you don't even notice the craftsmanship. Also, everything seems well-proportioned and honestly just spot on. I felt the power and your contagious laughter through the screen, man. 😂How can these guys not inspire you! Also, the production is getting way better! Felt like I was watching a movie. Good Stuff guys!
Thanks brother! And Paul & his team nailed it on the build. Everything is right on point. And you know how proud I am of what our team is doing on production. Killing it!
This is by far....the best car channel on YT. The fact that it features tons of American muscle cars, and it's in Los Angeles is the reason why the RUclips algorithm suppresses it. It promotes masculinity, so the beta Technocrats in Silicon Valley have an issue with it.
Using carburertors as throttle bodies is awesome! Me personally never heard or thought of doing that. Super cool. Great way to repurpose used or old carbs. Or just have that look. Be cool to see a boost application next.
Thanks Sean. This video came to me after our discussion last night about the 67 Camaro and my 72 nova. These clips just keep getting better and better.
Little by little it keeps growing. Thanks for being a long time viewer. Hopefully you’ve noticed the massive increase in production quality as my new team is crushing it!
I owned two '67 Chevelle Malibus, one convertible, one hard top, both were factory gold paint and gold interiors. The best year Chevelle. My next favorite is the '67 Nova II because they have almost the same body as the Chevelle only in miniature. This one in this video is really cool.
I loved the video they did on their channel and this one was even better. I love this car!!! Keep up the great work man, love the channel! I took a lot of the style from this car and others you have shot to do my car. Thanks for all the great content.
I built my own muscle car when I was younger, when you put true love into a car and build it the right way this is the love you get in return. Perfection only comes from a build done right.
This is the best car channel it just alligns perfectly with my personal car taste. Its like seeing dreams come true. hopefully ill be one of these lucky guys to own one of these cool cars one day
Yesssir....The one of the main problems when people build custom cars they mostly forget about "Fun usable power" me personally I'll take a good raw 500-600 hp car any day over a 1000hp car that's not fun and enjoyable to drive.
Thanks for burning some rubber for us, Badass Nova. Sounds good, clean custom scoop, wheels are perfect...At first I thought I wasn't into the carbs not working but no. They look great, very trick.
That's bad ass I love the Chevy 2 and Nova .My Grandma had a 1967 white one red inside I think It had a 327 it was like new still had the plastic over the carpet and the seats had covers over them the car still had the new sent in it .Dam I wish I would have been able to get it .she got a new Chevy truck 4+4 then I did not see the car no more .
I like the camera shot where the feature car comes up behind the camera car before passing. Also like to see the camera guys get to experience the ride.
Man this is the 1st build that uses the Tremec 5 with the sweet ⚙️ 4.56 ring-n-pinion. 👏 4.56 w/ manual is orgasmic. I had 4.56 on 700-R4. Up through 85 mph it was a blast. After that it was gassed on I-95. Same tranny w/2.29 in rusty G-Body would do 100+ mph at 2000 rpm. Limitless top end. I missed my 2.29's😢
Oh my good Lord. That is beyond doubt, one of the most gorgeous cars you've shot. Thanks Shawn for the good content Fix your shit so I can buy your merch!!! Not gonna pay more than double on shipping.
Its Friday evening and I'm busy but a new Autotopia LA video drops - life is on pause to watch the video.
lol!! Love it!!
Those wheels are the raddest wheels I’ve ever seen, this car also suits them perfectly. Perfect combo of old school DRAG and Modern, and so is the Chevy.
The best thing about this machine is that it's a manual!!!! Save the stick.....
YES!
This is probably my favorite car you guys have shot in a while. I really like the old school look and feel with all the newer tech absolutely killer intake design. Drives like new looks like old pro street. Badd ass work guys! Thanks for filming this one Shawn!
Yeah, this is one of my favorites too. Everything is right and it grips and gits
ABSOLUTELY LOVE how hard this car can be driven and just begs for more! Every restomod/custom car needs to be able to handle this type of abuse. Bravo! And launches so hard with just 450 WHP, amazing!
This is one cool car. Thanks for sharing.
Let's get cooking.
Wheels are sick beyond sick
Glad you like them. Everyone’s tastes are different. They don’t do it for me.
We got the disagree police over here😂
Love the wheels and that they were made in house at Old Anvil
80's/90's Prostreet is slept on these days. But make no mistake, they are still badass.
Definitely badass
I truly love this build and love how the builder does everything in-house with quality!
Most builders farm out work that is above them or out of their roundhouse, but this shop does it all!
He freaking did the wheel alignment for Christ sake! 😮
I hope the next iteration of this car will either be a 4" stroke and a 6-speed transmission.
Finally a true ballzie apptoach to unleashing the smile per gallon potential of 450 hp SBC without $80k 1200 + hp insane unusable combos.
Man; I love your enthusiasm for each and every vehicle you showcase! Another great ride!!!
I get pretty fired up about it. Especially this one
1st it's a Nova SS ✔️ It's pro street ✔️ It sounds phenomenal ✔️ It has an LS poking through the hood ✔️ yep it checks all the boxes on the Old School Cool list 👍
Dude ! perfect timing just sat down to eat my dinner and autotopia came through with a bad ass nova !
Glad we could entertain you for dinner! Killer Nova for sure
@AutotopiaLA Appreciate all the great cars and commentary ! Always a good watch
Well, I think I found a new favorite Autotopia car, live this thing! I can’t believe how it moves out for just having 451whp! Awesome build! 🤟
Power to weight is on point. It just digs in and goes!
Paul and Old Anvil did it again! This Nova is so elegant and badass that it made me keep staring at it. The attention to detail is seamless, you don't even notice the craftsmanship. 450 HP and 4.56 rear gears, Outstanding!!
I gotta say that Nova is badass!!! That's probably the happiest I've seen you in a car. We have a 65 Nova wagon, get video!
Absolutely love this car and riding with Paul was a blast!!
Nice car with adequate get-up-and-go!
This is by far....the best car channel on YT. The fact that it features tons of American muscle cars, and it's in Los Angeles is the reason why the RUclips algorithm suppresses it. It promotes masculinity, so the beta Technocrats in Silicon Valley have an issue with it.
Awesome street car. Great build. 😎
Thank you. Great build and I love the work my team is doing. They keep getting better
Bro when did this channel hit 650k+!?!? I’ve been watching since some of the earliest videos. This is wild
Loved that the camera guys also got to experience the thrill.
Trying to get them involved more on every shoot
That’s an absolutely gorgeous car. Spot on Old Anvil
They killed it on this build
The coil pack set-up is sick! That's something really unique and different. The whole dam car is sick regardless! 💯
That’s an his racing blood coming through. Coils away from the heat
so well put together! classic look, modern reliability and damn those sweet wheels!
great stance too! looks like its ready to pounce anytime!
Love the wheels they made and did them in house! Such a great build team
@@AutotopiaLA super! thanks for the feature! cant wait for the next one!
That's a Rowdy Nova...!!!
I loved the video they did on their channel and this one was even better. I love this car!!! Keep up the great work man, love the channel! I took a lot of the style from this car and others you have shot to do my car. Thanks for all the great content.
Thank you. Glad you like what we do here and love hearing how it inspires ideas for builds
I like that guy, he is badass and super humble
He’s such a good guy and his team kills it
Simple(sort of), CLEAN, timeless, USEABLE! That’s the key! Drive em! This shop is awesome-wow!
I built my own muscle car when I was younger, when you put true love into a car and build it the right way this is the love you get in return. Perfection only comes from a build done right.
Couldn’t agree more and this one’s done right
I love it! That LS wouldve been sweet with a blower on it Aussie style
Wheww so clean but such a beast. That's having your cake and eating it too.
Definitely
Love the car!!! And this is the builder I would choose to build my car.
They do fantastic work
This is the best car channel it just alligns perfectly with my personal car taste. Its like seeing dreams come true. hopefully ill be one of these lucky guys to own one of these cool cars one day
That is a BAD ASS Build sweet
Great job keeping it looking timeless. Love how much these guys can tackle in-house, even the wheels!! I agree 100% on the cupholders.
A beautiful ride no doubt 👍 love a good Nova especially with fun usable power I'd definitely need a tire sponsor if that was mine 💯 😂😂😂
Yesssir....The one of the main problems when people build custom cars they mostly forget about "Fun usable power" me personally I'll take a good raw 500-600 hp car any day over a 1000hp car that's not fun and enjoyable to drive.
So well done on all points. Tires would be gone all the time if it was mine too
That location of the coilpacks is badass!
That’s one of the best in-house builds you’ve had on the channel pure class 👍🏻🇬🇧
Totally agree. Properly build for sure
Beautiful car, awesome build 😎
Going to "Old anvil television" immediately ❤
Thanks for burning some rubber for us, Badass Nova. Sounds good, clean custom scoop, wheels are perfect...At first I thought I wasn't into the carbs not working but no. They look great, very trick.
The carb set up is so cool
Mini Torque Thrusties... I love those 😍
And made in house! Such a cool wheel design
Always liked this body style of Nova. Awesome ride.👍

No need to update in 5 yrs this car is done just right!
That car is so clean and tough. A beauty.
Stunning under the hood
LS 🤮
Agreed. Doesn’t look like an LS
@AutotopiaLA even if it did, doesn't take away from the car. It's beautiful and it's looks like it gets!
That car looks sick. Nice reliable motor with power. Fun car to drive I'm sure.
im a ford guy but this is my fav chevy body
I like the camera shot where the feature car comes up behind the camera car before passing. Also like to see the camera guys get to experience the ride.
Those guys love getting to enjoy the fun. Kyle was having a blast even when his head hit the roll bar lol
Thanks Sean. Awesome car.

I missed my 2.29's😢
The seats go good with the pedals. 😮
That’s a genius idea with the carbs as throttle bodies
She's a runner
She's a track star

That's one Pissed off Nova!!!🇺🇲
Definitely
@AutotopiaLA Everytime we see you with no harness on,omg!Great Content Brother love what you do!🙏
@ I never mind a simple shoulder strap though. Way better than lap belts or no belts!
@AutotopiaLA My first car was a 67' Impala Chevy 302,powerglide,big yellow boat. What was your first car?
A 67 C-10 and Nova. Wow!
Absolutely beautiful!!!!
I hope to be on this show one day but alas my build is six years in and since I fell off a second floor deck while building it, it may never be done.
Sorry to hear about the fall but hope you finish your build
The knee slaps are back!!! Awesome video Shawn.
👍🏻Like #145. This is one impeccable machine with a ton of soul. Righteous build.
Absolutely love this build!
Damn thing sounds amazing. Love their work
Very nice car love the carbureted LS only way to go
Bout to buy my wife and I some new autotopiala hoodies fam 🙌
Awesome!! Dec 10. Love the new design
One beautiful Chevy nova
I don't like "drag race" style but this nova is really badass
That is sick Sean. That driveline in an equivalent HR Holden. Jesus
Such a proper build. Everything is right imo
@@AutotopiaLA Absolutely 👏
That is such a great build
Wow, Very Cool, Love it!
That would look nice my garage but looks even better on the street taking offffff
It definitely rips!
All time favorite chevy model

Gettin' a new beautiful roof as well..
Great car!!
Super cool. What kind of seat belts are those?
Sweet build
Oh my good Lord. That is beyond doubt, one of the most gorgeous cars you've shot. Thanks Shawn for the good content
Fix your shit so I can buy your merch!!! Not gonna pay more than double on shipping.
What does it weigh? I just learned that it's 2700 lb stock, minus 140 lb or so from the all aluminum engine. Yeah 550 bhp is a lot of fun.
He said 3030 lbs with a 200 lb driver in the seat
One Sweet nova SS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wheels are Sick. 👍
Oh wow cool looks carbureted
Never take your eyes off the road in front of you. Nothing but having fun.
22:46 he smacks his head🤣
And laughs about it! Gotta love Kyle
