Bam Bam should definitely be inducted into the hall of fame for his contributions and his in ring work. He was one of the boys always. He worked great matches with Bret, tatanka,Sid,carried Lawrence Taylor to a descent match and had great tag matches. In my opinion he's the best big man in terms of weight ever and maybe Vader a close second. Always open and cool and relaxed in his shoots. I miss Scott Bigelow. He doesn't get the acknowledgement and credit he truly deserves.

Need some help with a question. What does that mean when the boys paid for the trial, the WBF and Hogans movie. I'd like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable about the behind the scenes stuff but I don't know what he means. Is it because Vince uses WWE money? Only thing I can think of and technically it doesn't belong to the boys. It does but legally it doesn't

    • @TitleMatchWrestling

Basically any money that went to fight the steroid trial, make a movie or fund the WBF always came indirectly out of the wrestler's pockets. It could have been accomplished a number of ways - slashing salaries that year, reducing the roster, taking away other perks that the company traditionally paid for etc. Not sure what their deals were specifically at the time but I'm certain the losses were passed down to everyone but the owner.

I never knew Bam Bam was so into money. I always thought wrestling was about legacy. Almost like a college coach. You make it until you can make millions then it’s not about the money. It’s about championships and legacy. If you become a millionaire and say fuck it I don’t want to do it the books we read on you your legacy will be forever tarnished. Like Scottie Pippen not going in the game against the Knicks in the playoffs 25 years later. So having that attitude isn’t progressive at all. Both Shawn and Bret had great careers so for them it worked out. It’s just him saying it like that very cut and dry.

for majority of the wrestlers it was all about the money as there wasnt much in the business to begin with. its a sport that is predetermined. so when you get asked to job, you just get down and do it as part of your job. your boss may even chuck you a few dollars for taking the fall. theres only a few wrestlers like bret that treat it as real. bret kept salaries down because he didnt demand more than he should have. he was quite happy and content with getting an average salary but at the same time being made made event and protecting his image. i uppose its something to be admired of and to be proud of but for majority of the wrestlers this wasnt the case. it was about as making as much money as you can
