Brilliant job as always mate good to see you back.
@Matthew Barnes Hello buddy! Thank you its nice to be back 😃😃
Welcome back long time . Thanks for help
@Ansar Ali Thank you, its been way too long, apologies for the delay and thanks for your patience and continued support! 👍🏻 😃😃
Great to see you back sir!!
@the naval file Thank you! Sorry for the little break 😂
Mine just started. I was going nuts. Will be checking
Update. Just checked the visible bolts first. The passengers side was loose. Tightened it up, noise is gone! Thank you for the video. I was ready to start ripping the dash apart!👍
@jonredd650 Thats great news! Glad you found it and didn't have to take the dash apart 👍🏻
Thought my suspension was gone and the noise was driving me crazy especially when going over bumps. After watching the video i have remembered that when replacing the air filter on my e60 530d i have dropped one of the torque bolts in the engine bay and never put it back on. After installing a new bolt all the PAIN gone away. Thanks for the help and keep up the good work.
@Ivan Petrov Hi Ivan, I'm so pleased my video helped you out! Thank you for your comment and feed back. Its really appreciated 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
Колега нещо като тракане скърцане от централния въздухоотвод на парното ли се чуваше?
Great video solved my issue 0:31
@boychamp2 Hey, thank you so much for the feedback I really appreciate it!! 👍🏻
I’ve not had this yet but I’ll check mine tomorrow just to be sure, nice one.
@Streets UK Yeah great shout! If you have a T45 handy definitely worth a check. Thanks for your comment too! 👍🏻
@@TheBimmerFixer just a suggestion Sir, you should premiere your videos, so we can watch and interact with other subscribers in the chat.
@Streets UK Ah that would be brilliant, great idea thank you! I will look at how i do that 😃 Thank you for the suggestion!
Hi Mr Bimmer, need your advice AGAIN please, is there ANY way to deactivate the system on my E61 where I have to depress the clutch to allow the car to start ? I want to make it into a " normal car "
Many thanks
@t5jerry Hi my friend! Unfortunately not the only possible way you might is if it was coded out the styem to need to clutch depressed to strat. Its classed as a safety feature im afraid.
Hello, thank you for the video and the good job.Do you have a video of the squeaking itself? I have very annoying one ,kind of near or from the central blower under front window.
@Олчай Керим Hello and thank you for the comment and question. I'm afraid I don't have a video of the noise, I tried to record the it but I couldn't hear it in the video. The sound was coming from the exact same place as your noise i bet its the same problem. If you have a look and tighten up the bolts and see if that solves the problem. I hope that helps i know how annoying that noise is. If you have any other questions please let me know i am happy to help.👍
@@TheBimmerFixer thank you, these days I will try your method and write what happened .
You are very welcome! Yes please do, good luck! 👍🏻
I did it and it worked, cracking stopped 🙉,they were so weak even with hand ...THANK YOU SO MUCH!KEEP GOING!
Thats fantastic news! I'm so pleased it fixed the problem!!! You're very welcome and thank you! 👍🏻
hello sir , we enjoy your great & fair contents , could we work something out ? PM ❤
Hello,
Does this apply to f10?
@basselrihan440 Hello there, yeah absolutely definitely worth checking! 👍🏻
my 2010 e61 has 2 position memory on the drivers seat, i`m pretty certain that when you unlock the car with the key fob, the seat should move into position, i`m certain it did it a few months ago when i bought the car, but the way i get the seat into position at the moment is to open the door and press the memory button allocated to me , button 1 i think, do you know how i can programme the car to move the seat when the door`s opened WITHOUT pressing the button ? thanks
@t5jerry If you have comfort access then yes the seats should move when you unlock the car. Might be worth putting the seat in the desirerd position and then re-syncing the key through the idrive. That should sort it 👍🏻
@@TheBimmerFixer don't think I have comfort access, the steering wheel lowers when I put the ignition on and raises when I turn ignition off, but my key fob looks identical to yours in your video where you swapped your key fob battery, I've had a lovely evening watching the majority of your excellent vids, do you know of any UK BASED RUclips channels which are related to E60- E 61 , don't find the American channels any good.....
@t5jerry 🤔 hmm ok, well might be worth giving it a shot anyway just incase 👍🏻.
Thank you so much matey I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos I really appreciate it!! For other UK based e60 content there is a guy called George Austers who has a lot of E60 content. You'll have to pop him a comment letting him know I sent you over to him 😂😂
@@TheBimmerFixer I've seen ALL his videos, I'm a saddle I'm afraid.....
@@TheBimmerFixer I have the cic idrive, I have NO idea how to use it to programme keys though?
I'm surprised you didn't know about the spring needing de tensioning when doing the brake shoes , but then again, I've taken it for granted that you know everything about beemers, but alas, like the rest of us, your human too 😀
@t5jerry 😂 I did know about it but didn't show it in the video because if you don't adjust the cable under the handbrake just right and you adjust the drum too much you are then forever chasing your tail to get it right. I just thought it would reduce the chances of getting it wrong and causing people less headaches if they just did the drum. In hindsight probably should have included the other cable in the video never mind 🤣
@@TheBimmerFixer are we talking about the same spring ? the 1 i`m talking about is a large SINGLE spring under the handbrake which you access from INSIDE the car, remove the handbrake gaiter and it`s underneath the h/brake...
@THEBIMMERFIXER AND @T5JERRY have literally just watched that video. I'm having a binge watch of your content and I love it! Back to the handbrake... I made the mistake of adjust the cable under the handbrake then the drum and it caused all sorts of troubles the tolerance are so fine when adjusting both cables definitely worth just adjusting from drum if you can. Keep up the good work!! Looking forward to more vids!!
@t5jerry oh beg your pardon sorry no we're not. Yeah the fat one directly under the handbrake sorry yeah I have used that before but never really found it made a too much of a difference. But in your case with the rounded cog releasing the tension would definitely help. Something else to add in future videos. Did you manage to adjust it in the end?
@peaceful Bliss firstly thank you for your comment and feed back im pleased to hear you like my content 😊. I know what you mean about those springs but the one t5jerry is talking about is the fat single spring directly under the handbrake. 👍🏻
sorry to be a pain, but how do i "re-sync my key via i-drive" ?
@t5jerry 😂 You're not being a pain im happy to help! I'm desperately trying to remember how to do it. Last time I did it I done it by accident playing around with the idrive. My e60 doesn't have it so I can't try find it on mine. I will try find the online guid I have definitely seen one before. Failing that you might have to tell me if you work it out😂😂
@@TheBimmerFixer appreciate your help, i HAVE already looked, but can`t find anything about it, don`t worry about it, i don`t expect you to waste your weekend helping a "strange" stranger out🙄🙄🙄🙄
@t5jerry Just had a thought! With the key in the ignition and the start button pressed once and the the seat meory button pressed and held for 5 seconds should automatically sync the fob 🤔 to that seat position
@t5jerry ok mate 😂 have you seen my last comment?
@@TheBimmerFixer yep, gonnatry it now. DON`T MOVE 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
well you DID ask🤭🤭🤭🤭
🤣🤣🤣🤣
