Because I'm an overthinker, I'm realizing that this and the mix on Drea's album have two different feels that are perfect for their settings. The version by Drea sounds proud, pompous, unstoppable. But the (added/subsequently removed?) effects in this version almost make it sound like the narrator of the song's story is looking back, bitter, and repeating their old words. Either clinging to their old justifications or realizing they *can't* justify what they've done anymore, all while either the whole world, or just *their* world, crumbles around them. In other words, matching the main conflict behind this game: Carlito justified a whole zombie outbreak to himself to expose a government cover-up, and it ends up making everything worse for the whole world. But, again, I'm just overthinking it, XD
I think that in this case, lyrics meant that every character try to justify their actions. Even West. He may became a hero but his first interest was to get a scope.
It's 2:47 AM and I finally completed 7-Day Survivor right when it dropped at 2:29. Painful but worth it, amazing game, please make a new one Capcom, the franchise deserves it, if Devil May Cry came back better than ever, then Dead Rising can too!
When I was younger I had dead rising on the Wii, somehow I managed to beat it multiple times and even get the true ending. Now I have it on my xbox and It's super difficult! Amazing game, my favorite game of all time.
Tbh the Wii version is just a shitty reimagining of re4 but........ when my 360 red ringed and it broke my dead rising disk that Wii game was the funniest thing I played in a long time. :p great game but it's not comparable to the actual dead rising.
Dead rising 1 through 3 were amazing, but 1 and 2 are my favorites. Every character, from Frank and Chuck, to Carlito, TK, and Sullivan, all had their motives, their moments of fame and infamy, and a personality that makes them stand out. Even the PSYCHOPATHS, the random minibosses of the game, had their motives (allbeit horrible ones), and they were believable as their own standalone character. From the more in-depth psychopaths that had SERIOUS motives like Cliff (DR1 - a war veteran who went insane after hearing his granddaughter scream as she was eaten by zombies), Crystal and Amber (DR2 - twin showgirls working with TK to make a profit off of the outbreak), and Sergeant Dwight Boykin (DR2 - Shell shocked sergeant seeing everything - including the living - as zombies) to the one-off psychopaths that, even though they were one offs, you had a REASON to defeat them. Like Jo (DR1 - a corrupt mall cop capturing women and threatening to...do things with her night stick), Seymour (DR2 - A security officer hanging survivors and dispensing "justice") and Randy (DR2 - an internet porn addict forcing a woman to marry him because he was told he needs to wait till marraige, and he doesnt want to die as a virgin.) Its a real shame Dead Rising 4 turned out how it did. The "Maniacs" had no clear moments and werent memorable (they didnt even get a cutscene, and they were all optional except for Queen Sandra), and you couldnt really get involved with the STORY CHARACTERS. Darcy and Paula were forgetable at best, Tom Pickton despite being deranged had no CLEAR motive for trying to kill Hammond other than keeping others in line (people that joined him WILLINGLY mind you), and Vick was just an asshole the whole time. Even the MAIN VILLAIN CALDER, the final boss of the game, wasn't that memorable. Sure he had a few cutscenes but there was just destruction as his motive. Nothing that separated him from other lesser psychopaths.
@Deer King oh the series is dead. I dont think another ones even gonna be made which sucks cause the series was ended on such a sour note. And I get you with the other games, fuck I still play Off The Record from time to time just to get PS4 achievements, but DR4 just doesnt do the series justice.
I love how I can hear the names of most psychopaths from DR1-3 and immediately know who they are, yet I can't remember a single character from 4 besides Frank and Vick lmao
Look to my left, and you'll see where I tried Look to my right to see the crimes Look through my past, and you'll see all the lies I've lied and why I'm Justified
I love how you can hear this song instrumental cover in menu's idle cutscene as the mother and daughters are surrounded and most likely killed by the zombies. "I am justified". It kind of shows how much Isabella is willing to sacrifice for both revenge and to (Kind of?) redeem her and her brother.
Unfortunately, Dead Rising franchise is ironically "dead" (and the story doesn't have more to tell us) the only thing Capcom could make with it is a reboot/remake or pretend Dead Rising 4 was just a Frank's dream or a shitty B movie using Frank's image.
Thats what Dead Rising 3 setup, Santa Cabaza is where the strain found its cure and every other game that came later would be prequels to Dead Rising 2 and 3.
I can visualize this band together at a bar having a great time when someone walks up to them and asks "Are you guys in a band?" and them replying "Absolutely right, we just made a song for this new game coming out. You know, listening to tis song and looking at the picture made me realize how creepy Dead Rising is compared to its sequel. I just get the chills everytime I walk through the Willamette Mall during night time. My theory for Dead Rising 2 not being so creepy as its prequel is because you're playing as Chuck Greene, one of the most badass characters in the Dead Rising series and not to mention the king of one liners. Frank is badass too. I mean come on, He's covered wars, ya know.

If they ever make Dead Rising into a film (yes i know its based on Dawn of the Dead) they should add this song to it. Imagine in the Cinema playing this on full volume in High Dolby Surround Sound echoing the Cinema
It's honestly kinda a shame that Capcom doesn't really value Dead Rising like they do their other IPs. It has such a unique niche and there's no other franchise like it gameplay wise.
I played dead rising remastered today and beat Brock in overtime mode he almost killed me 1 health bar left he was almost dead to I did a football tackle and that was it for him
Wish granted. Now I hope they don't remove Justified, the zombie chanting, heavy rock and lyrics perfectly encapsulated the experience through Wilamette.
I accidentally found a fucking masterpiece when looking for celldweller music... which unironically was a response to this series' music being so fucking good too, lol
I don’t know if the remaster is gonna be good or not but I wonder if they’re gonna bring Drea back or someone else sings a cover of it or there’s just a new song? A cover of justified is more likely but I wouldn’t be surprised if they make a new song that’ll most likely suck.
I tell you and I (probably am) am not exaggerating When I beat this game it felt like my soul *ASCENDED* to the heavens IT WAS SO HARD and that’s what made it so fun 😌
I only like the first Dead Rising Game. I absolutely detest combo weapons. Not only do they make the game too easy, but they completely kill the mood. Then again every game in the series after this one was made by Capcom Vancouver. A horribly incompetent game Studio that had no idea what they wanted to do with the series that was given to them. I still hold hope for another Japanese made Capcom Dead Rising Game but unfortunately I don't think that's coming anytime soon, and the best I can hope for is a remake like what Resident Evil 2 got. But Resident Evil 3 remake is so atrocious that I don't know if I want it. They would make Jessie and Isabella unlikable, Frank an idiot and cut out most of the content and difficulty to cater to a casual audience and live streamers.
@@gageowo9527 The problem with the combo weapons isnt mood related, but gameplay related, They were Too strong, making them obligatory to use, if they were a little more scarce and were barely more effective than your regular props it would be better, but they also made props very weak and give too little xp, forcing you to rely in combo weapons.
@Shion is my Waifu to be frank (no pun intended) it makes sense why Frank in DR2: OTR was like that, grumpy and upset, after seeing him in the tank just yelling after defeating Brock you can tell that he's finally snapped and became unhinged. After going to Fortune City and seeing what happened there it most likely brought back some bad PTSD to Frank and make him feel that way because he didn't want to deal with things that were similar that happened in Willamette. Hell even one of the damn psychopaths was literally the brother of Adam. Yeah its unnecessary I agree however I don't think it's too bad especially considering not only is it non canonical but also it's just a spin off title and not a mainline title. Imo I don't think TIS is the best minigame but it is fun I will admit. They should've added more content, and I don't think the story is that dumb but at the same time aren't all the dead rising plots kinda ridiculous?
Always will have fond memories of Dead Rising. One of the first 360 games I ever played and one of my favorite games period, still remember the first time I beat it, hearing Justified and instantly loving it and considering it still to this day one of my favorite end game songs. Asking for a remake? Well do I have some news for yall!
Why did I not hear this song much sooner?! Now I regret skipping the credits.
Such a legendary game
Year 2023 and still rocking this song 🤘
I absolutely love the expression Isabella has in the picture. :)
b-bruh?
chill
@@baronluigi2738thats how I see the song as well

It's 2:47 AM and I finally completed 7-Day Survivor right when it dropped at 2:29.
Painful but worth it, amazing game, please make a new one Capcom, the franchise deserves it, if Devil May Cry came back better than ever, then Dead Rising can too!
RIP George A. Romero.
WII version only had the true ending, i think.

The Dead Rising Remake is JUSTIFIED!
From the more in-depth psychopaths that had SERIOUS motives like Cliff (DR1 - a war veteran who went insane after hearing his granddaughter scream as she was eaten by zombies), Crystal and Amber (DR2 - twin showgirls working with TK to make a profit off of the outbreak), and Sergeant Dwight Boykin (DR2 - Shell shocked sergeant seeing everything - including the living - as zombies)
to the one-off psychopaths that, even though they were one offs, you had a REASON to defeat them. Like Jo (DR1 - a corrupt mall cop capturing women and threatening to...do things with her night stick), Seymour (DR2 - A security officer hanging survivors and dispensing "justice") and Randy (DR2 - an internet porn addict forcing a woman to marry him because he was told he needs to wait till marraige, and he doesnt want to die as a virgin.)
Its a real shame Dead Rising 4 turned out how it did.
I agree
@Deer King oh the series is dead. I dont think another ones even gonna be made which sucks cause the series was ended on such a sour note. And I get you with the other games, fuck I still play Off The Record from time to time just to get PS4 achievements, but DR4 just doesnt do the series justice.
I love how I can hear the names of most psychopaths from DR1-3 and immediately know who they are, yet I can't remember a single character from 4 besides Frank and Vick lmao
Best video game ending theme ever!
M4 Part 2 by the Faunts in ME1 is my personal favorite ending theme, but I will agree this perfectly fits the game.
I think Kill the Sound from Dead Rising 2 was better tbh

@@JaePhalconum thx! Didnt know this
I love how you can hear this song instrumental cover in menu's idle cutscene as the mother and daughters are surrounded and most likely killed by the zombies. "I am justified". It kind of shows how much Isabella is willing to sacrifice for both revenge and to (Kind of?) redeem her and her brother.
This game will never get old.
Unfortunately, Dead Rising franchise is ironically "dead" (and the story doesn't have more to tell us) the only thing Capcom could make with it is a reboot/remake or pretend Dead Rising 4 was just a Frank's dream or a shitty B movie using Frank's image.
Or make a presequel with the santa cabeza outbreak
Thats what Dead Rising 3 setup, Santa Cabaza is where the strain found its cure and every other game that came later would be prequels to Dead Rising 2 and 3.
Hey guess what
They need to pretend 3 and 4 didn’t happen and make a new one after the events of 2

@@goldandragoon but those are spin-off's and side stories right? I mean a film based on the first game.
Bad news
It's honestly kinda a shame that Capcom doesn't really value Dead Rising like they do their other IPs. It has such a unique niche and there's no other franchise like it gameplay wise.
Especially since all they need to do is make a prequel set in Santa Cabeza, since that's ground zero for everything else that happens in the series.
Iv'e been looking for an HD version of this song for years. Thank you so much. :)
I played dead rising remastered today and beat Brock in overtime mode he almost killed me 1 health bar left he was almost dead to I did a football tackle and that was it for him

There ain't no justifiable reason Capcom had to make Dead Rising 4
@@gageowo9527 You know there's an option for you NOT to use combo weapons right?
@Shion is my Waifu yea for sure, 3 and 4 were dogshit but tbh the dlcs + "spin off" (case zero, west and off the record) werent bad and i loved them
@Shion is my Waifu to be frank (no pun intended) it makes sense why Frank in DR2: OTR was like that, grumpy and upset, after seeing him in the tank just yelling after defeating Brock you can tell that he's finally snapped and became unhinged.
COME ON! FOLLOW ME! FOLLOW ME! COME ON! COME ON! GO!
What an absolute great ending to a fantastic’ game. This games tone was perfect

One of the first 360 games I ever played and one of my favorite games period, still remember the first time I beat it, hearing Justified and instantly loving it and considering it still to this day one of my favorite end game songs.
