- Another custom character for UMKD, this time its Sektor!
Note: Animated textures don't work with MKA models in MKD, once I figure this out Sektor will get animated cyber panels for primary costume (and other characters working face damage textures).
Sektor will be available in the V6 release of UMKD.

I think Eric combos should come back in newer MK games, but only in 2D combat. I think with 2D combat the air combos will be smoother and fun to pull off.

And you set his default Armageddon costume as his alternate one, which was Armageddon's tendency of grabbing an alternate costume (i.e. Scorpion, Sub-Zero) and make it the default. That's genius.
Makes sense to have his first costume inspired on Cyrax, mostly because he looks like that in Konquest Mode

sektor was rumored pre-release for mkd so decided to go with recolored cyrax, thats something they might've done too as robo smoke concept is also recolored cyrax

Excellent pick of fighting styles. Shuai Chiao what an underrated stance
even aikido, san shou and crab from deadly alliance was so underrated that it didn't even returned in armageddon where every hand-to-hand combat was added.

@@mtd1089 we know that bro, it is just hsu hao wasn't yet in the roster so might as well use his hand-to-hand combat, even cyrax's ninjitsu was used (even though this was cyrax's palette swap).

Maybe not being able to incorporate his MKA teleport effect was a blessing in disguise because it feels just like his classic teleport punch.

Also very interesting to see Sektor is using one of Hsu Hao's fighting styles from Deadly Alliance (Shuai Chiao)! I don't think I recall seeing that fighting style used in Armageddon. That's a neat fighting style choice for Sektor

Also, I like that soundtrack from MK:SF, which is the most underrated MK game above all others.
I wonder what Sektor's fatality would be in Deception. It's very complex to add in animations for what NPCs would do as finishers, but imagine how sick they would be. 🔥🔥 Either way, keep up the amazing work!

Sektor succeeded in finding new recruits willing to undergo the process to become cyborgs and secretly created a home base for his new clan in Japan.
Like a virus, Sektor's new faction of ninjas grew in number and their presence in that nation become cause for alarm.
Soon all of Japan would be controlled by the Tekunin.

Now that sektor has a red recolor of D.A cyrax. Will smoke get a purple recolor? In fact can noob-smoke get four kostumes? Since noob’s kostumes in this game are basically the same and smoke has one cyborg kostume and one human kostume( the devs konfirm that smokes alt is human smoke in koncept art in the krypt)

yup. the voice of sektor/cyrax in mka didn't exist yet in deception.

@@ermaccer ehh I don't know. When I first played in Armageddon his fighting style is only Kenpo but then when I discovered some of E3 gameplay footages He only has Ermac's fighting style move.

why would you want young shujinko or ghost liu kang when you have all these new characters, onaga is already playable
Will there be a chance dojos get music and can be selected during arcade?
dojos and konquest stages will remain in practice, they are too simple for arcade imo, random music will be added in v6 for them

are there more than 2 costume slots? if not, i actually prefer this MKTE costume over his MKA alt, so i'll like either answer
theoretically its possible to temporarily alter alt costume for something else to make it appear as if theres more costumes but it will be very hacky to implement so id rather not bother
