Just remember that salt destroys those crystals and so does freezing them.
Also, certain plants like tomato plants need a LOT of water.
You can easily use 3-5 times that amount depending on the size of the container.
And still have to water tomatoes in hot weather.

Yes , the absorbant inner material of the nappy/diaper is usable , however after some thorough research the internet recommends not using it on a plant or tree in which you consume in any way.
