Lucky you're in Texas and there are lots of rust free parts available. Here in Canada 'rust free' are words you hardly hear...Cheers bro

about the extended frame : you might be able to move the wheelarches back by mounting the dually arches more to the rear of the bed , the back piece of the frame you can cut lookes like the rear crossmember it bend too

Chris the frame is going to be 9 inches longer than stock i have a k30 they were made at the medium duty truck and bus plant. fames are 9 inches longer and wheelbace is 4 inches longer. It should have the narrow rearend not the wide pickup rearend.

thank you for letting me know.. yeah, I’m gonna make it work though.. just waiting for the weather to cool down in Houston.. I read about the narrower rear end.. that should help with tucking the wheels nicely .. do you know how much narrower it is than a normal one?

@@chriscraft77022 i believe the wide rear end is 8 inches wider i have seen a few trucks built with the narrow dualy and a standard fleetside bed. You will need to extend the inner wheelwells in the bed. Almost like tubing a muscle car.
