@@caseyk4202 It is physical now - it not being physical was unintended and so was fixed. (You can just cheese this one by turning off player gravity and just floating up btw)
I applaud you for pressing through on the Final Challenge. It just gets harder the more times you run it, with both the "hurry up" instinct, and the fatigue from all the flailing on the level before. I took a break for a few days and came back. I also cheesed things a little - one, I would Save and Quit and then Reload Scene if I failed, so I wouldn't have to redo the pillow level. Second, I just smacked all the targets I could reach by walking up top, though those are pretty easy anyway. Ironically enough, it was some of the first ones that always seemed the hardest for me - the 4 giant fails right at the start, and those bloomin' hide-and-seeks.
yeah the mini targets behind the pillars are the hardest, i could've gotten it in many less attempts but it was something stupid halfway through that wastes a bunch of time, but at least i called the target flying in front of the scope immediately before it happened right?
Wow. I ate the cake rather than smacked the target with it, and...I wished I'd done what you did. I also don't think I can go back without beating Final Challenge again.
@ yeah, I hit the two inside the red and then move a few of the exploding ones behind me, and I did shoot the barrels but it dosent kill you only the targets.
I had a similar ladder experience. It was hell. Then I accidentally fatfingered the move button, and sent myself BACK to the ladder once I was in the mortar room. My arms were incredibly tired at the end lol
The only way to do That One MGS3 Level is to turn gravity to Moon. I will not be climbing 200m of ladder. You cannot make me. Edit: If you run out of ammo, time, or nick a squarell, there's a button on the timer plinth to reset the room. This prevents you from having to do the previous room over again. (I used this a lot on the level after Fish in a Barrel, because I was NOT going back there)
changing the gravity settings is actually really smart, i didnt look at the options panel once, but i did use the reset room once on look up after my rhino was flung to oblivion
There's another cheese option, as well, unless it gets patched out: as soon as you beat a difficult level, click 'Save and Quit' when the next one starts. Then, you can resume from the Bullshoot main menu and if you fail, click "Reload Scene" from your Wrist Menu and you can resume from the last level again without having to go back a step.
