more like ABOUT CLOUT!!!!! AWESOME VIDEO
James you forgot to introduce us to that sexy new vice! What's her name, who's her favorite power ranger, hows it different than your last vice, does she like being rotaried (or is it rotared?), whats your favorite attribute about her, it is me or is she tall, and do you like being asked ridiculous questions ?
Side note this fly has worked on every tailwater I've been on so far! Instead of nylon I've been just wrapping the wire ribbing through the bead. Its not as locked in but it is slightly quicker to tie and if you crush the barb it save the fly for a few more fish.
Hey Bro, saw you on the river last friday, I was euro nymphing off Kyle's boat. Thanks for all you and your partners do to enhance everyone's enjoyment of this precious resource, the San Juan river.
Cheers
Thank you for the kind words and I appreciate you checking out the channel!

James, more entertaining each time. Glad your biz is going well!
Thank you!
Oh come on now, that's just clever. I'm gonna futz a couple up. Nice one Jimmy-Jam, I dig the format of laid back tying videos 👍 Bless up.
🙏🏻
I thought I was done tying midges this month. Guess I will get a few of these in the box as well. Great job as usual James. Can't wait to hook it up in the Spring with you.
Definitely one of the more fun midges to tie. See you in the Spring!
Kewl!
DEEZ BEADS!
😂
Nice bug
Excellent. I have also used dental floss to bind the bead.
For beads, local craft stores have a good color and size selection of glass made in Czech or Japan. Your bead is anywhere between 8/0 (bigger) to 12/0 (smaller). Bonus is that your kids can use the beads for bracelets, pins and other things that make a lot of noise when vacuumed-up.
Quick ask on your Renzetti Master: did the longer stem/post come with your vise, or was it an after-purchase? Asking because I bought mine in ‘00 and find that I need to put it up on a few math books to keep from hunching-over too much.
Aloha from Manassas!
Manassas home of the Bobbit family! Haha I’m from Vienna originally. Great tips on bead size. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Thanks for the tying video. What color wire for black and gray do you use?
Gray I like silver. For black I use copper. Thanks for checking it out!
Great tie, how would you fish this little bugga? Under an indicator? Like a dry? Euro?
I personally like to nymph this fly. Usually with lighter split shot. It’s a great fly for when the fish are feeding shallow.
Do you prefer this over a foam emerger for any particular reason? Dig your videos commentary is fyre.
I love foam wing emerges as well. This one really shines for me when the fish are midging in really shallow water. With my new lens I’ll be able to show everyone the midges I fish. Thanks for checking out the channel!

Would you spin the bobbin counter clockwise if you were left handed?
If you were trying to flatten it yes.
James, Since I'm no guide, what changes do I need to make to tie the Weekend Warrior version of this fly?
😂 just fish a red hook. Specially a daiichi 1273 #20
James, is the bead glass or acrylic ?
