Caleb is probably the most evil character in the show, being a child eating cannibal, but you just love him so much because Tim Meadows is just so charming and likeable. Maybe my favorite guest star character in any sitcom ever.

After a couple of days in solitary most people lose all sense of time, many begin to hallucinate. The combination of no interaction and no activities screws up the brain fast.
The fact that he didnt even question if Rosa was daydreaming is amazing because we all know Rosa might as well be doing that stuff. Nothing is off the table with her.
Solitary confinement exceeding 15 days is considered torture by the US, and honestly it should probably be considered torture even after a few days. Having NOTHING for 24 hours a day will make you lose your mind, you probably wouldn't enjoy it even if it was "only" 5 days.

I had morphine after double jaw surgery and they gave me a button to press when I needed more morphine, but it would only light up after a set time, so i wouldn't over medicating myself. I would just press the button every time it would light up. My high brain thoughts were "I'd rather have the pain meds every time it lights up then wait for the pain, because when they take the morphine off me, I'm going to regret not abusing this light up button". I don't think I felt pain that whole 2 days but I slept about 20 hours every day and had the best/weirdest dreams.

Comedy is better when it pushes limits. Eating kids is terrible but if the comedy is done right, then you can't help but to laugh. Tim Meadows was perfectly cast as Caleb

a lesson in the body's biochemical processes (I'm an immunochemist): meth works on the dopamine pathway and the dopamine pathway is part of the biochemistry of addiction. amphetamine salts (Adderall or Ritalin), cocaine and meth work hard on this biochemical process, but meth has a much higher addiction propensity. the mania that it produces is akin to how E works but much more aggressively, cz E primarily works on the serotonin patheay. mania addiction is much faster and much more brutal than depressive addictions. what's more is that meth doesn't deplete your dopamine the way E does serotonin, so there's no crashing. you're just always wired af and the half-life of amphetamines is much shorter than something like benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan etc) so you can dope up more frequently. the length between each consumption gets shorter and shorter the longer you use meth. also, I respect the shit outa this show for not diminishing their PTSD for being in jail. I do jailsupport for hackers, journos and activists and have visited 6 different ones and 2 county jails. I have to decompress every time I leave a penitentiary. the worst thing is solitary is an actual and legit form of torture. when he said I hope you won't go crazy, it's a very heavy jab right there. one of my hackers was rambunctious and they put them in solitary for months at a time w only 15 mins a day for showering. **goes back to the Ava episode to cleanse my palette with Ric's joy**
You should check out Larry Lawton's youtube channel, ex convict, he spent MONTHS in the solitary, has great stories, now fights against bad prison conditions and corruption. Also does reactions, even for B99
When I was in the mental hospital after a manic episode I kinda (reluctantly) relaxed from the no tv no phone no friends part but after 2 days it made me so sad. Like it’s an entire different thing of course but being alone with almost nothing to do sucks.
Every Thanksgiving since this episode aired I yell out "More mashed potatoes!!!!!!!" And my mom asks "Why do you always scream that now!?" And I say "Well if you'd just watch the damn show with me you'd understand; god" :D
Well at least we know now if Eric was in solitary confinement for 5 days he would have his thoughts if Rick was in there he would just do a lot of pushups and Shadow Boxing and erin would do push ups and masterbait I wonder what calvin would do🤔
