Economics do not make sense, for example someone even bought 500 inr worth groceries you will get merely 10 to 30 inr profit or maybe no profit. In India there is MRP concept, IN USA there is no MRP written on Packages so pricing can be set dynamically giving them an edge. If they launch overseas then I could see it succeed, and overseas people are ready to pay more for a product
