I’m not Catholic, but I’ve starting saying some of the prayers including the Rosary as I find them comforting. I’ve made a few small pocket rosaries for myself as I enjoy it. I like using the #95 paracord as opposed to the 550.
That’s wonderful! I tend to use 550 325 and micro cord to make my rosaries

same but i end up finding a small white Rosary for the arm size when i was sitting at a bottle depo waiting for them to open at the time & i still have the Rosary in a spot i can see it & know it there..... i buy a bigger Rosary online place in case i need it

I'm fairly certain that it is the power of the Holy Spirit that calls us to salvation and then directs and empowers us to do the Lord's will. Praying the rosary might open someone's heart to Catholicism, but what's more important is that praying opens your heart to God. It's Christ who saves, not the Church.

This is so awesome!! I am in school right now for occupational therapy and one of the things that we learned is to use crafts to develop fine motor skills and making rosaries would be a perfect thing to do especially with patients who share the faith!

i have been making rosarys for many years now... since i was in school (many years ago aha), and also chotki prayer ropes, there is a peace that comes from making them and giving them away......and watching these videos on how to make them

I have been making Rosaries for maybe 3 or 4 decades and I love it. I find it relaxing and also somehow strengthening. Sometimes I sell them just to recoup what cost but I find it hard to sell what fells like art to me. Thank y'all! Gabi for sharing the details on how to make Rosaries!

She attached special promises to those saying it.
¹ These apparitions are approved by the Church. Tragically, people did not take heed of Our Lady's warnings at Kibeho, else the bloody genocide she predicted could have been averted.
Still, the special worth of this devotion remains: originally, Our Lady herself made it known to the founders of the Servite Order-all of whom are canonized saints (!)
[That's, of course, extra to the promises Mary gave centuries earlier to those who each day meditate on and say at least one Hail Mary for each of her sorrows; plus the additional 4 promises she gave to St. Elizabeth of Hungary, as St. Alphonsus Ligouri, Doctor of the Church, attested to in his book on Mary.]

Problem in the UK is getting a hold of beads that have an appropriate hole diameter is pretty much impossible. If the materials are tricky to get a hold of in the US they are more or less impossible to get in the UK 😢

Mr. Gabriel I have a question in the final assembly of this paracord rosary. Why did you install 2 “Our Father” red beads in between the first 3 “Hail Mary” beads? The manner in which the rosary of the 7 Sorrows of Mary is receited in many versions I’ve seen on line the rosary bead praying begins with the first 3 black Hail Mary beads after the “Act of Contrition” is prayed, not the red Our Father bead as a lead in.
There should be only 1 Our Father bead after the first 3 black Hail Mary beads leading afterwards into the first decade of 7 beads. Please clarify the use of the first red Our Father bead before the first 3 Hail Mary beads to get a better understanding of your assembly method.. Thank you for your response in advance. You should "gut" the 550 cord before starting(take out the white string). It'll melt together better, too.

Hello! Check out the Description^ (maybe I will pin a comment too).....Rope Length is 6 Feet and you will need 52 Hail Mary Beads and 8 Our Father Beads
When will I ever be able to get a rugged Rosary or at least a Rosary as tough as that when I'm only in Ghana?!🥺
I am sure you can find some rope or string and beads and then you can make a very similar Rosary! The knot works on almost any type of string! (You can even just make a rope rosary without beads, just tie the knots close together and for the Our Father wrap around 3 times to make it bigger and make all the Hail Mary knots two be 2 wraps, like Gabe showed for this rosaries knots)

@@josephmary969 depending on the brand of paracord you get (each brand varies in size) the hole in the beads can be anywhere from 4mm (for smaller 550 paracord) to 5.5mm ( for larger 550 paracord)

A presentation about the rosary, especially the seven sorrows rosary, should be more reverent, not full of jazzy music and a rhythm track. You may be trying to appeal to a younger audience with this video, but you are doing them know favor, nor the cause of the Blessed Mother, to promote a state of mind and heart that is not holy.

I'm sure Gabi + Claire are in a mind>joyful to be making< a rosary-that's different from »praying Mary's sorrows.« Still, your thoughtful point has merit.After all, Carmelite nuns who make scapulars, rosaries, etc. would Not have music playing-because the very action>of making a scapular or rosary is A Form Of Prayer that they offer to GOD.< THAT'S a unique vocation few are called to by GOD. Yet, your point remains... for all our actions... do we genuinely offer up to GOD all that we say and do in the day.
