INSTALLING THE AWE TOURING EXHAUST ON MY HONDA CIVIC TYPE R!

I finally got my hands on the AWE Tuning Touring edition exhaust! I waited about a month and a half for it to come in and was finally able to install it this weekend with the homie Miles! The exhaust is paired with the stock downpipe and it sounds amazing. There is little to no drone in the cabin and would recommend this exhaust for anyone looking to get more noise out of their Type R without making the driving experience unbearable. Big thank you to Vividracing for hooking me up with this awesome exhaust and AWE for producing such a quality product!

I think I have the exact same mindset, not much louder, just want that little bit of a deeper tone. Seeing how happy you are with it, I think I’ll have the same experience. Getting it installed in one week from today! It came in the mail just now. Sooo sexy. Great review. Happy with the last clip too when you said you couldn’t really hear it until your rolled down the window. I’m stoked.

It’s the best sounding exhaust in my opinion. I’m super happy with it, almost no drone in the cabin so you should be perfectly fine if that’s your main concern. Hope you enjoy it when you’ve got yours installed!

Hey man I've been reading some reviews on forums, and some people are talking about drone at 2500-3k rpms, what's your opinion?

Yeah there’s a little bit of drone right at 2500 rpm but it’s not unbearable. It’s definitely avoidable if you stay right below that 2500 rpm mark or move quickly past it but other than that, it’s quiet and loud when you want it to be which is what I enjoy the most from it
Cruising on highways going 65mph+ sounds almost like a normal car

Hmm I haven’t seen that yet but I’m more of a OEM+ kinda guy so the three center tips is good for me
