She is also dead wrong. People forget exactly how strong Thor is able to become. Particularly once he inherits the Odinforce. Both the more recent comics and the MCU are taking turns that make the heroes completely different than their previous canon and most certainly different than Stan Lee made them/wanted them. He was low key about it, but he remarked on this more than once. He was too gracious and polite to be loud or overt about it... which just made me respect him more.

But did either of them hold a lead role in their own movies? No. Of the 22 MCU movies that have been released as of now, Captain Marvel is the only story to be lead by a woman. That means that only 4.5% of MCU movies have been lead by a woman. With the amount of non-male fans that pay money to see these movies and have been watching since Iron Man 1, the representation has been lacking. Yes, Black Widow and Scarlett Witch exist but they are treated as supporting characters to male heroes. Captain Marvel is one of the first to fill the gap in LEADING women that the wonderful Brie Larson was referring to.
Alexa Rose hate to break it to you, but despite not having a solo movie, the scarlet witch has been more than prevalent in recent marvel movies, and the black widow was one of the very first avengers, so despite Larson making history by having a solo movie (which they were not talking about, they were talking about the avengers movie, where black widow and scarlet witch had much larger roles than her in) the black widow was the first female avenger and she doesn’t flaunt that around in the most annoying way possible like Brie Larson does.

Very awkward. Chris Hemsworth consistently comes across as being an extremely nice, likable and friendly guy who has the ability to get on with everyone but his unease towards Brie Larson in this interview was so obvious. Even the interviewer was visibly uncomfortable but was very mature and grown up about the whole thing.

brie larson stunts interview in depth weeks before chris hemsworth. No, it really all came out of ignorance, to be honest. I didn’t realize that you don’t actually do your own, most people don’t do their own stunts in these movies. I thought you did, and I’ve never been a particularly elegant or athletic person. I’m just an introvert with asthma and felt like I needed to be able to do that. I just thought, “I don’t wanna be on set, and they ask me to do things, and I don’t know how to do it.”
So I started training as soon as I could, which was right after I wrapped, so it basically started right as I wrapped picture, I locked picture on the film that I directed. I then went into that, which then turned into nine months of training. And nine months of just training-training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team. We spent two hours every day, five days a week.
And it wasn’t until … everyone just went along with it, and was like, “Cool.” It wasn’t until we started shooting, and I started doing all my own wire work stunts, and flips and stuff that people were like, “You know nobody, now we’ll tell you, nobody actually does this. We just didn’t want you to stop. But now that you’ve kind of accomplished this thing, we don’t normally do this.” And I was like, huh?

Brie seems like far too much high maintenance for my liking. I feel like they were treading on eggshells with her here. Scarlett Johansson is much more likable. Chilled out but still doesn't take shit from others, all in all a very decent person.

What makes it awkward is her UTTER complete disrespect by dishing it out but acting indignant when thrown back at her. People that doe this are universally seen as A-holes. Why would it be any different here? The tendency to "ball bust" but not be able to take it is a HUGE turn off in any social setting. Guys that do this often end up in physical fights because it will escalate quickly.

Maybe you haven't watched that many interviews, you can find the actors miserable for pretty much every movie in at least couple of interviews, just given the huge amount of repetitive shit they go through for days before premiers. The Dark World interviews were specially painful to watch.
Krystal I have hope she will latter on improve at least on screen, I remember Chris Evans wasn’t very well received with his first film. Probably not as hated as Brie Larson but wasn’t as beloved RDJ portraying Iron Man and since winter Soldier people started to really love him.

Don comes across as the weirdest to me. When she touches him with her arm he gets weird about her touching him. I thought that was awfully odd. It's not like she caressed him or touched his face or did something inappropriate
brie larson stunts interview in depth weeks before chris hemsworth. No, it really all came out of ignorance, to be honest. I didn’t realize that you don’t actually do your own, most people don’t do their own stunts in these movies. I thought you did, and I’ve never been a particularly elegant or athletic person. I’m just an introvert with asthma and felt like I needed to be able to do that. I just thought, “I don’t wanna be on set, and they ask me to do things, and I don’t know how to do it.”
So I started training as soon as I could, which was right after I wrapped, so it basically started right as I wrapped picture, I locked picture on the film that I directed. I then went into that, which then turned into nine months of training. And nine months of just training-training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team. We spent two hours every day, five days a week.
And it wasn’t until … everyone just went along with it, and was like, “Cool.” It wasn’t until we started shooting, and I started doing all my own wire work stunts, and flips and stuff that people were like, “You know nobody, now we’ll tell you, nobody actually does this. We just didn’t want you to stop. But now that you’ve kind of accomplished this thing, we don’t normally do this.” And I was like, huh?
