Hi, I bought a used kenwood krf-v5050d from Europe with a replacement remote which doesnt work. I tried many remotes and also my mobile with number of apps but still the amp doesnt respond. How do I know if the issue is in the remote sensor? In the video it is not clear if he replaced the IR sensor. Do you have any advice for me, greateful.

Sustituye el sensor? O hace un puente uno con otro?

@@joejose2179 solo se resoldo la placa en la posición que indica

Si pero se ve que hace como un puente, estaría mala la soldadura
Imagino que lo mejor será cambiar el receptor

Hi, thanks for this. I am also having the same issue. But how do I know if its the sensor or the remote sensor IC in Kenwood setup. I tried many universal remotes too but the issue remains.
    Thanks for any help.

@@rscuri Hey, you saved my day. I was looking for the original remote thinking other remotes do not work with this model. I have seen your video a couple of weeks back but was hesitating to take your route thinking it will mess up. Last night I read another review where this problem was mentioned and I took the risk today and man, it was the issue. I am so happy and I am thankful for your video for sharing this solution. I hope all those who have the same issue will make use of this idea. Thanks again.

El sensor no estaba bien soldado y solo volví a soldar la conexión débil
