I've heard this song so many times by the original Allman Brothers, it has become a part of my life, this one comes close but, no one can ever replace Gregg 🙏
He looks just like his Dad. I met him after a show several years ago (Butch Trucks had a band he was playing in). One hell of a nice guy. Certainly happy to talk with anyone at the show it seemed.
While it's "heartening" to see this music carried on by their heirs , it's not done with a lot of ... confidence (?). I don't think the kids inherited the same energy or chemistry their parents had.
I agree, still rough around the edges here. This sounds great. Really makes me take notice of how incredible the Allman Brothers Band was. Slide player name?
devon is not a singer IMO the aslide player is good but no jack pierce not close i was dissapointed by this rendition one of my fav greg allman tunes, im sure they will improve

It's great to see Berry Oakley JR. playing something magical in the name makes great musicians.

@@karl662Duane Betts was the same. I met him & Devin Allman after a show a few years ago.
Sounding great guys. Carrying the torch and thank you so much ! Mad respect 👍
Very very nice slide playing
was just gonna say that xD
IMHO Duane has a cool style all his own...
(Hi Natasha)
This is their best cover of the ABB songs I've heard so far. The playing is tight, and the vocals were solid.
wow great version of my one of my favorites by the Allman Bros
Great band! Johnny Stachela is awesome
Johnny stachela
Johnny is so good on that slide guitar! It’s a thrill! Amazing Gregg Allman song. Duane plays a short, sweet solo!
Perfect! Favorite off of eat a peach! Oakley allman and betts again!
Gets me right in the soul!💖
It does my friend. I thought we lost this music style when Gregg Allman past. Thank God for Devon
Love you all!
Love my guys! Just saw them in Walhalla, SC. Devon's voice is sounding more like Dad's now. That blues sound!!
Nice redo of a classic ABB tune love it😎👍🏻
Amazing ❤
This had to have chemistry to sound this good. Just like the original performers of these songs.
Carrying it forward, boys…
AWESOME!😉
Both Duane and Johnnie play some awesome guitar on this wonderful song written by Devon’s dad.
♥♥♥
THANK YOU FOR POSTING
Sydney....here ya come.
Nice redo on a classic Ann tune
Pretty damn fine
I hope they can get back together.
Perfect. Except that Devon doesn't have his old man's gravelly voice.
Nobody will ever have Greg's vocals. Man I miss him 😪.
Give him a break man. Let him have 13,000 bottles of Jack Daniels and 10,000 packs of Camels. He'll have it down.
WHO DOES
Ja das ist gute. Spielen Gittaren un singen sehr gute. Das ABB ! Yep

@@shawnpickle6334 Johnny Stachela - Slide Guitar,
I guess they need to write their own songs and follow their own path and not rely too much on what was already done.
