I read somewhere that Devon, Duane, and Barry had formed a band and I'm ashamed to say I wrote them off as a "coattails" act. Man, was I wrong. They've got music to share.

But these boys can rock. I watched their daddies play back in my youth, and they are chips off of the old block. But, I will be watching them tonight in Frankfort, KY!

The band settles in to a fine fine groove and I am lovin’ it. I can’t get this tune out of the mind....and I LOVE IT!!! Thank you to the Allman/Betts band for making some sweet music. Thank you to the whole band. I love this style of jam based music. The rhythm section is tight and the slide guitar is heavenly

ABB is where it's at for carrying on the Allman Bros music for me. I have tried to get into the TTB because I like Trucks guitar playing but I can't get into their new music. These guys I hope stay together for a long time because they're very good and making some really good new southern rock more like the ABB of old...
I'm pretty sure that this is their best tune yet. I wish it were ten minutes longer, it's got that feel good, groovy beat and melody that flows along with the great licks from Duane. Duane sounds just like his dad from back in the day and that's a good thing. Got me picturing Southern gals wearing their Daisey Dukes and bikini tops dancing in the backs of pick em up trucks down by the river. Oh yeah, I got that warm, fuzzy feeling. Hope y'all make it back to Houston again soon.
