I was replying to Tydrak's «would be a hella cool way to leave this planet tho». When you skate, you damage plates, benches and e.t.c., and when you bomb drop to the death, you not only damage the pavement, but also lower the value of property - people usually don't want to rent / live in places, where someone died prematurely.
I can Kickflip, heelflip, double kickflip, varial kickflip and (only once in like 25 tries) tre flip, but I just CAN'T POWERSLIDE, IT'S LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE WTF
Fabulous Killjoy yo if you trying to learn them easily, wax the ground a bit. Don't hit it to fast, and beware you slam a bit harder. But just force that back foot forward 90degrees while simultaneously leaning back and forcing your momentum forward.
Trevon Kobin ehh Iv had bad experiences waxing my wheels. But speaking of wheels the harder they are the better and easier they slide, but with that comes more flat spots.
I used to watch Aaron Kyro's tutorials but they were kind of hard to follow, as well as many other tutorials I've seen. I'm subbing to you, because these tutorials you do are really simplistic and way easy to follow somehow, also you got a pretty modest narration so it gives me the confidence to actually go out and try doing these tricks. Thanks to you, I'll eventually get good enough to do more than short manuals lol. Keep up the great videos, doing good stuff here.
This is in my opinion the best skateboard channel right now (even better than mine, lol). Awesome tutorials, with good explanations. Anything from easy tricks to advanced. It's sort of like Braille but without the nonsense. Don't get me wrong, I really like Braille but sometimes you just want to watch a video where focus lies in skateboarding, and not ten different ways of how to open a box. :P I really liked the list, and I will keep it in mind when trying to teach my son a few tricks. I especially liked the tips of pivoting with the front truck when learning powerslides, since I tried to teach him powerslides yesterday and got nowwhere! :P Subbed!
magnus soderbom it's basicallly Braille but without the shitty voice of Aaron kyro and the shit skating tv's and iPads and bullshit. Such a great channel
haha, I think it's OK if one is interested in skate progression on a beginner level. Nothing compared to this channel, but we are doing our best to provide decent content, but in the end it comes down to (as so much else) pure personal preference. Check it out if you have a boring moment and time to waste! :P
magnus soderbom totally agree. Im just starting but just the positivity of this channel and how he doesnt condescend for us beginners. All around great channel
To learn firecrackers I made a manual pad that is about 4" high and put it at my 8" front step and it lets you practice 2 drop with time in between them
Yesterday I learned myself the powerslide! Still a beginner, but it's allright :) I need to practice more, because I did try skatebparding a couple times but I quitted. I'm trying again and now I learned the powerslide! Now I'm going for the ollie.
My only problem with beginner tricks is that I watched a lot of videos on a lot of tricks, and I can never remember any of them. Not that I don't know how to do them, but I just can't remember any of them.
I don’t like to think I’m a newbie to skateboarding, having longboarded for a few years, but realistically speaking I am a newbie to skateboarding so thank you for all these videos for people like myself. They are really helpful
Hey VLSkate, skating for 9months now starting to get the hang of it. Can ollie pretty high but one thing that keeps bugging me is this. I can NEVER ollie while moving, and when i ollie normally ,im goofy footed btw, i allways turn backside like30degrees. Please help and do a video on how to ollie while moving
Space Invader if you want to stop turning while you Ollie just keep your shoulders straight with the board, don't look anywhere except perpendicular with the board and you just gotta practice ollieing while moving and it'll come
Le Baguette personally no because I don't ride penny boards but in general, it can be done although it's hard and you'll likely have better luck on a regular board
Yo, bit of advice since I'm doing this too. Get your basics down prepared for spring, so that you can skate with confidence in Spring. You wanna get comfortable on your board, learn how to ollie, kick turn, being comfortable while going fast, and anything else you think you can do. These are pretty much the absolute basics of skateboarding, so within the first few months, you should be able to learn these, plus a fe other bits. Good luck!
I love to skate board, but I live in saraland al. Where the people are major dangles, the cops are nice, and there arnt any skate parks. So far I've found one church with a large enough black top to get the hang of flat ground tricks. Problem is its about a 2 mile ride along main roads with a sidewalk that has spacing the size on my wheels. Pretty much its a hell of a ride, it makes it really hard to stay motivated considering there are only a total of 5 people who skate board here including me. There was a small skate park out side of a skating rink about 5 years ago, but it costed about $20 dollars to ride. It wasn't much of anything, imagine a halfpipe with a box in the way of half of it. That was all. What are some of the rainy day ways you would keep yourself entertained in terms of tricks in garage like spaces, which is what it feels like all the time. Also if there are some people watching this you live down here hit me up it gets lonely lol.
6:35 wth who’s dog is that Oh yeah I forgot there were other people on the planet.. and that parks are public places I have a strong lack of social interaction
No, cruisers are not for tricking and are just for people who can't be bothered to do any tricks so just skate as a method of transport. Tydrak At least you go out doing what you love
destroying other people's property and bringing down real estate prices.

I love how he goes straight to the tricks in his videos and explains them in the simplest way ever :)
Powerslides are hard as hell and I've been skating for 6 years
Matias Bianchi what's ur best trick

U need to get hard wheels then power slides are easy I recommend spitfire street formula
I know, skating for only 2 years tho, but still I can't even come CLOSE
0:11 the block thing has such a motivational quote on it
bomb drop? back in my day we called those caveman
i used to call them acid drops but some old tony hawk instructional video called them bomb drops. i always thought caveman was into a slide or grind
Dakota Harris i wanted to say the same,we call this caveman two
Dakota Harris some people call it different things
they are called a caveman. However there are tons of variations and doing a caveman down something might actually be called a bomb drop.
My understanding was that caveman implies that you are doing it into a trick. Just a standing drop was an acid drop.
at 4:17 he fell so dramatically

he did

Trevon Kobin ehh Iv had bad experiences waxing my wheels. But speaking of wheels the harder they are the better and easier they slide, but with that comes more flat spots.
Fabulous Killjoy bend your knees hard and push forward with good speed
If your wheels are too soft you will never be able to pull off a power slide. make sure you have very hard wheels 94 durometer +
its crazy how much you can learn skate tricks on youtube

Next do 10 easy tricks on a cruiser board😂 not penny board though to easy
No, cruisers are not for tricking and are just for people who can't be bothered to do any tricks so just skate as a method of transport. The only thing for tricks is a longboard, mainly if you have plenty of speed, and skateboards. And any tricks that can be done on a longboard or cruiser can be done on a skateboard so there's no point.
Gavin Roberts Except penny boards those are meant to 360 flip
Gavin Roberts thats exactly why i want him to do it.i want to see what he can come up with
Well no, it's easier to do flip tricks on a penny board but you get little foot room and technically it's all the same thing.
It's really pointless making a video of penny board "tricks" when they are the same as what you do on a skateboard.
Snowboardprocamps were there for me when I was starting snowboard and now you hear for me when I'm starting skate lets goo🔥
