Hello, I have a 1981 185s that my dad has kept in his pole barn and needs a tone of work. I would like to take the original forks off that are bent and replace them with suspension shocks. Any pointers on what where I can find some?
Suspension forks off of a later 185S should bolt right up. I would look for the whole assembly with the axle, hub, brakes etc all in tact. The easy way to find one would be eBay, or keep looking around old motorcycle junkyards and you might run across onw. Thanks for watching and good luck!
I love you video! I have an 84 200es that I'm currently rebuilding when wondering where do you get a new seals for the forks? Honda says they don't make them anymore
I have had good luck on ebay. You could try searching for "1984 atc200es fork seal" or try searching by the Honda part number. Best of luck in your search!
Did you make those dual headlights on that blue Honda. If so what lights did you use that will fit in between the forks . Did you have to make a custom mount
I bolted 2 ATC90 headlights together. I then chopped the mounting ears off the ATC90 fork and welded them on the 185S fork. Here is a video how I did it ruclips.net/video/3gKLVXtSfHQ/видео.html
Hey man! Love the videos! I’d love to rebuild my front shocks on my Honda ATC200S but I can’t find a seal rebuild kit anywhere. I only find ones for an X, not a S which I’m not sure if that would work or not but other than that I can’t find anything. Could you link me to where you bought yours?
What I normally do is google something like "ATC 200S Parts List" and you will find a few sites that show all of the parts diagrams and part numbers for the trike. I then search the parts diagrams for the part number. Once I have the part number I search for that part number on ebay or amazon. I have even had some luck calling the local Honda dealer and give them the part number. I have been able to find some stuff like seals that way. Best of luck in your searches!
@@BIGFOOTBIKESANDBREWSNo worries! I guess I'll service my 200s forks first and then tackle the M forks and see if they are similar. Thanks for the attention to detail in the video.. Should make this job that much easier. Be well Donut Dan
Oh man I'm sorry to hear that. The only thing I can think of is looking on eBay. I would bet there are some people parting them out. Best of luck in your search!

Thanks Matthew. I got the kit on eBay. I just searched for "ATC183S Honda Fork Seal kit" I haven't checked there in a while but I would think someone is still selling them . Best of luck in your search!
Is anyone working on any cool projects this winter? If so, what are ya building? 💥💥💥
Three thumbs up!!! One for a three-wheeler video. Two for being a Honda ATC. And three. You got Bigfoot as your channel logo.

Is there a video on adding a rear shock to a 200es
That would take a lot of fabrication but I'm sure someone out there has done it.

Is there any way you can tell me the proper placement to put the frame stops?
Hey Grant, it was a bit of a guess. I just turned the forks about to where they would hit the tank and then I tack welded the stops in place.
you want a great video and 1000s of people like it?go rebuild the 84 honda 200 es shocks?yup.the hard ones to do!!!
Thanks for the idea! I was thinking about building one of the bigger trikes in the future. I will keep it on my list! Thanks again for stopping by!
Are the 200m forks serviced TV he same way as the S models?
I'm not totally sure. I have never worked on the bigger stuff. Sorry.

How about a rebuild video for an ATC200E ?
Of the fork and front axel/brake that is.
I don't have a 200E right now but always looking :) I'll definitely have some videos if I find one!
I rebuilt mine and as I was putting it back together and the front right lower cracked anyway to fix this or would you know where to find them

What silver paint code used ?
I can't remember exactly. I just went in to the autobody store and looked at their paint chips. I think it was a 2000's for fleet silver.

are golden wheels original color?
I think a previous owner spray painted the rims 😀
Where did you order the seals?
I got them on eBay. You should be able to find them by searching for ATC185S or ATC200S fork seal
Would that procedure be the same on an 84 200M ?
I think the 200M is different. Sorry!
Great video.
Where did you get the seal kit?
Thank
