Thanks! I'm sure a person could keep sanding finer and polish, I might try it some day. They only trick would be to not smoke the plastic and discolor it. It takes little practice to not burn the stuff.

Cool! I am thinking about finding another one and putting a ATC125M engine in it. I have the engine ready to go, just looking for another project bike to go with it 😀

@@BIGFOOTBIKESANDBREWS yeah just be aware that the ATC125M engine was made for an ATC and is incrementally more powerful than the Trail 90, mostly at the bottom and mid range. The engines the company PoweRoll converted were various stages of race or hotter street power. Mine needed 100 octane aviation gas to be happy but it also cruised easily at 60 mph. And with the acceleration, it had a very big torque and power from about 3000 up to 9K, it wasn't a smooth transition. I had to do some ignition advance mechanism work to tame it and make it happy with unleaded premium.

It was a darn good lunch!

The speedo was working until a week before the trip. Dang aftermarket ebay junk 😅 I planning on putting the stock speedo back on soon. I need to figure out something for the tach though since the original XL one is mechanical and there is no provision for a mechanical tach on the TRX engine. I'm thinking about putting the guts out of an electrical tach in an original tach body. Some day 😁 Thanks for the comment!

As far as the costume, I think I need to be more more worried of elk hunters lol.

@BIGFOOTBIKESANDBREWS well I realized the atv engine is a horizontal design and won't fit without a lot of hacking up the frame. So I am going with a powerfist 212 (canadian predator engine).

I found out later, a small screw got sucked down the intake. Luckily it was an easy rebuild. It runs like a champ now!
