I like Orcust. I'm playing a BA deck with the Orcust engine but man it's just too splashable for it to not get hit on the next list, which makes me nervous.
@@donjuan6996 i honestly prefer the earth engine for BA over orcust. The earth engine gives a better end board for the deck, and doesnt lock you out of using saryuja or beatrice for your end board
Τhat's exactly why Orcusts need to be hit really, IMO. Being so splashable, you can't just keep banning every other deck (Phantom Knights RIP) they piggyback on :p But it's also problematic because very few orcust monsters are main deck monsters (and they are mostly searchable), so if you limit the orcusts to 1, you are not hitting the deck, and if you ban them, you kill it.

i played lunalight before they became lunalight orcust. sure pure doesn't have good turn 1 board but deck was still good to OTK with. i hope konami doesn't limit any lunalight cards (kaleido, tiger, etc.)
They wont limit. They arent the problem. The problem is Knightmare Mermaid to start the Orcust combo. Lunalight without the orcust combo is a wet noodle deck without any threat to the meta decks of today.

Yes Tiger it's a really good card, but Lunalight wasn't a Top Deck until Orcust, it was a rouge deck but nothing more, I mean if Kinami band mermaid then there's is not reason to limit Tiger, Kameido or Marten.

PK deck get hit hard....it's only a matter of time man

Defo. The work that guy has done is utterly incredible. Hours of combos, gameplay and decklists. Personally I would check out his list of combos that use azathot in them. There's about 12 of them.

They are all completely standard. They are part of a combo that searches any trap from your deck (normally eev) sending it with curious and setting it off gryphon. Why would you not play the engine. Eev is a free win vs control, anti spell is few win vs pend, summon limit is free win vs everyone else.
*konami please ban mermaid* This orcust deck was absolutely ruined my favorite deck and I’m hoping none of the Lunalight cards get hit because Konami designs two card combos that every deck can abuse.
@@steveweigner6941 I put the won condition of the deck first, correct me if I'm wrong but the ycs ghent deck didnt run the fusion's so the win condition was the orcust cards. Lunalight are just the engine that help facilitate the set up.

Timing of release. Most of the Lunalight cards came out when Konami thought the (soft) OPT text would be enough to limit abusability.
