The Buster Douglas fight should have been a win for Iron Mike, the ref gave Douglas a 13 second count when he was dropped, giving him the chance to recuperate and get up. Mike was not himself though for this fight and others that followed.
his sole connection to Cus D, his trainer, was axed by Don King, his wife got rid of all his fiancial advisors, and at this point he didnt train nor fight constantly. Instead he had a few a year and barely trained. He had zero head movement. The writing was on the wall.

Well "counts" are counted at different speeds. So.... should be seconds.
It was going to happen sooner or later if your not dedicated at some point you will get beat.

Alot of people say his loss with buster Douglas the ref counted at a slow pace and it shoulda been a 10 count and called the fight so tyson shoulda won by knockout before buster got him
"Count" is as stupid as it comes. There is no fair judgement. Refs can be biased. As you mentioned, "counts" are different speeds where ass "seconds" will always be seconds.
It's bullshit. --- I've seen fights when refs didn't keep the same speed counting a 10 count
He lost and that's it, stop trying to find excuses lmao

I totally get that about bullying. I've never started a fight in my life, but have ended quit a few. Once you get pushed past the limit and see red...logic goes out of the window. My friends and family know this. I have to be separated from the situation or I'll hit them until I can't lift my arms anymore. It comes from growing up in extreme violence. The brain wiring gets messed up while it's developing. Then it's something to be managed because it's not likely to go away.

Then after he sobered up and realized that she humiliated him on television he went into a tantrum tore up the house got into his car sped off and ran into a tree and ended up in the hospital.

Buster Douglass mother had died the day before and he promised her he would win and Tyson was in a terrible place because of the divorce and bad management so buster had something to win for and Tyson didn't
