I don't need many kitchen utensils, but when family members hear you like to cook, you start to gather quite a lot of novelty rubber spatulas every Christmas lol. Beautiful box!
Hey, thanks! Yeah, that's one thing that the CNC adds to my capabilities that I couldn't do before. I have a vinyl cutter now to that I can use to personalize stuff.
Beautiful project, Steve. I am in the process of organizing in the kitchen. I recognize that my first step is going through things and getting rid of the items I don't like or don't use. When I did my silverware drawer, I got rid of about half of the stuff. That made it much easier to make an organizer for what was left.
That's a great idea, Steve. I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and invest in a CNC. Your projects always turn out awesome. Keep up the great work buddy. Stay Safe, Regards to the family. Love and Respect from North London UK
Thanks Trev! Same to you and yours! I had to avoid operating hands-on machinery for a bit, so the CNC is a blessing. I can still make things without using the more hands-on dangerous machines.
That was fun, the lettering carved into the grey works very nicely. And I loved the Delta blues, just wonderful. Like you, we have a load of kitchen tools but I think we use only two or three of them. Oh well...
Thanks, yeah I was going for the gray worn barn wood look. Never tried that before. I prefer the metal ones over the plastic, but sometimes we use a lot depending on what we're cooking.
That is a great project and a good looking one too. It is amazing how many kitchen utensils my wife has collected after about 50 years and that includes the outdoor grill Hahahaha! There is even an unopened set in storage somewhere in the house. I know I've seen it lol. Glad to see your still making videos! Take care!
Great project Steve! We have just as many utensils. Now I am going to have to make me one of those organizers! Thanks & hope that you are doing well.... 👍👍😉😉👏👏
Thanks Al! It's nice to easily pull out a utensil without the whole jar coming with it. lol I still watch your IG stories every night. Hope the weather is improving up there!
I thought you had some HUGE kitchen utensils but they're just normal. Oh well. Hope yall aren't blown/washed away down in Hotlanta, Starving Youngun. Lots of rain headed downhill to yall from here. And I liked that guitar picking. Had a lot of 'Deep River Blues' licks in it! GBWYall!
Hey Lewie! Ha, I thought about that as I was typing the title. lol Storm wasn't too bad here...just lots of rain. Hope you are doing well! Stay safe out there!
Thanks! Yeah, thank goodness for the robot. It's much better at carving than I am. I have a vinyl cutter now, so I could use that too...more robots! lol
Yes, sadly we have exactly the kitchen implement issues that you have. However, what I need more than that is a kitchen sign with a few choice phrases... "Dino chicken nuggets are not a real dinner", Don't come snacking when dinner is just 30 minutes away", "When you say that you don't like my dinners, I take it that you are volunteering to cook the next meal", "I cook with wine and no, there is none left to put in the food", "Let me explain the Trinity...it's salt, pepper and garlic".
lol that's about 5 times the amount of utensils I need. I'll often replace them but I throw the old one to the recycling. ;-D I do still have a draw full of old similar stuff that needs throwing out though. Some are gadgets I use once a year and don't like the idea of throwing away.

Thanks! Funny how these things accumulate.
We need one of those!
Hi Jim, I should have made this a long time ago.
Looks great, Steve! Super functional and attractive.
Hey Dale! Thanks! Hope all is going well after the move!
@@SteveCarmichael garage is a mess, but we are in. Need to have the spike start coming down so we can have a lunch.
Nice job Steve it looks great I bet you're wife loves it thanks for sharing and remember stay safe 🍺🍺👍👍🇬🇧
Hey Brian, thanks! Yeah, she likes it. I wasn't so sure since it covers more counter space though.
That looks great
Thanks John!
I always enjoy your videos - your attitude and personality make me smile. Thanks for the video - made my day!
Thanks Glen, glad to hear it.
Love the project! Now I know what to make the wife for Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration, Steve!
Great job Steve. I need one of those.
I've seen you cooking before, so yep you do. I look at your dinner picture every day. :)
excellent project steve
Hey David, thanks!
You have more kitchen utensils than all my extended family combined, haha! :D Great project!
Ha ha, it kinda felt like we have more than usual. I never really noticed before for some reason.
Nice one!
Hey Willem, thanks!
Good to see you, Steve. I hope you and yours are all doing well.
Great project; I especially like the writing

Excellent project! Great to see you back!
Hey Gene, thanks! I keep coming back every few months. lol
Beautiful project, Steve.

Thanks! I think we have so many because they come with most cookware sets. We'll send them away with the kids when they move out. lol

Loved this video. Thanks
Frank, Laurel MS
Hi Frank, thanks! I am visiting Laurel in a couple weeks for work.
@@SteveCarmichael sounds great. Maybe we can meet up, if not this trip then another one.
The organizer looks great steve

Thanks Michael! I'm sure we have more stored away. I know for sure we have fancy ones somewhere in a china cabinet.
I need this for sure! All our utensils are a mess...lol!

Thanks Steve! It's nice to be able to get them in and out of the box with less effort, since they are not crammed in there so tightly as before.
Looking Good.
Great job Steve, it’s great to see you in the shop making fun projects. Hope you’re doing well buddy
Another beautiful design my friend, way to get organized! Love that music, must know who?Take care sire. -Maker 238-
Hey, thanks, it's from the youtube library. It's called Middle Age Man Blues or something like that.
Great job brother
Just found your channel and really like your work. But nothing for a year. Hope you get back at it 👍
Looks good nice to see another video
Great video Sir, I need to make one a little smaller for my kitchen, love the design 👍🏻👊🏻👍🏻👊🏻👍🏻👊🏻

Great Video
I have 100% free-range utensils. They are all roaming in a drawer together. Great box with classic style even though a robot carved it.
Thanks! Yeah, thank goodness for the robot. It's much better at carving than I am. I have a vinyl cutter now, so I could use that too...more robots! lol
Do you think you own more utensils or more clamps?
Ha, clamps I hope! It's close though.
Hey Harry, those are great! lol I went with a more generic phrase. I was very close to putting "Get out of the kitchen!" or "Clean up your mess!".
lol that's about 5 times the amount of utensils I need. I'll often replace them but I throw the old one to the recycling. ;-D
I do still have a draw full of old similar stuff that needs throwing out though. Some are gadgets I use once a year and don't like the idea of throwing away.
I guess the good thing is we never run out when we need a spoon or spatula.
HELLO STEVE!
Hi there!
I make all of my utensils out of wood for our family and friends
Oh wow cool! I've thought about trying that, but we have so many already.
My Bride could probably fill up 2 of those, lol
LOL, you need a double decker one.
The only thing that HAS to go in there is the potato masher as it will get wedged in a drawer.
Ha ha, right! Getting that thing untangled from the dishwasher rack is like a puzzle sometimes too.
Sry x crave is not for me.
That's cool. This box can be made with just about any cutting tool.
