I've been subbed to Shawn's channel for a while now, so was pleased to see you together. Thanks for having us along and giving him a well-deserved shout-out. Cheers, - Martin
Joe I've been watching his channel now for a couple of weeks and when I saw this video i was so excited that you two guys did this together. I am so envious of the joy you both are going through as you canoe in the outdoors, so much fun. It seemed like an amazing trip and just awesome fun doing this trip. Thank you for sharing and hope to see many more trips God Bless.
it's so easy to get sucked into your videos. I always loose focus on everything else I'm doing when I watch your videos. Stay outside and keep up the grind joe. Your channel is no joke. Its clear you know what you are doing outside AND exactly how to capture the experience with a camera. thanks for the effort
Watch both your channel and Shawn's regularly.... Great to see you guys together, I was pleasantly surprised. Very different styles, very different everything. I hope you guys do more together... its really good. I thought for the first half you were not going to get any words out of Shawn but the second half was all good... Looking forward to the next one! Cheers!
joe is always outside and hey I got up at 5:20, hey I got up at 7 and am canoeing and he lovies it and he makes me want to get up early and do things too. thanks joe!
Great video Joe. I was nice to see you Shawn get together. I have been following his short videos on FB. I enjoy both of your videos and learning from you. Keep up the good work.
Your videos are inspiring and a good reminder that we need to focus on more important things than our cell phones and 9-5s. My wife and I are moving into our RV full time come May so that we will have the freedom to do more things like this. Keep up the hard work! :)
Bought the big agnes fly creek UL 1, came home to watch a review. Clicked on your video and kept thinking i knew you...5 minuets later i realize you were on Alone season 1. Been watching this channel non stop since (staying up way too late). Super addictive
Looks like you had a decent time. Yes the fishing is just not what it used to be. When I was a kid we would go into Algonquin Park at the Brent Gate and make our way up to the North River. We ate our catch there and caught our limit on the way back and had a fish fry the following Sunday. That was almost 35 years ago.
Great video , Joe. Beautiful scenery. So relaxing to watch. Always plan a bit more food in packing. Ha. The fish meal looked yummy. Eat your veggies. 🐱💞
You sir, are a source for inspiration! Thank you for sharing!! Tomorrow me and my youngest son are going to our cabin by the baltic sea for some adventure to some sights from the stone and bronze age :) And the stone labyrinth that the vikings built :) Keep the good work up and take care!!
Shawn promised ya some trout? He should have know it would have been a tough fish in that heat! Something different about this video though...maybe it was a that fish! You still managed to scramble a few together and make a go of it. Nice work guys.
I did wonder when you guys would team up, I watch you both out in the same park in your videos. You guys aren't the only ones, I have this vision of all the channels I watch filming on the same lake, same day, in different camp sites passing like ships (canoes) in the night :)
We do have some beautiful places to camp here, no doubt. Cool video, glad to see you two catch some of those tasty fish while on your trip. I liked the look of the stuffed ones, I will be trying that recipe out as well. Thanks for sharing.
Been watching the channel for a while since about 20 k or so subs and I do miss the old channel name, but it s your channel and therefore your deciscions.
Just need to figure out if I want to get the kayak or the canoe. Also which bank to hold up. Did you notice much of a speed difference between the two paddle styles?
Was anyone else concerned and /or confused at 3:02 ? At first glance it looked like Shaun was holding Joe down?? LMMFAO got a good laugh... Just that my brain very wrongly perceived what I was looking at. Just wow.
Hey Joe, I am new to your channel and I've got to say, you post some pretty awesome stuff! I have been going to my grandparents cottage since I was a kid right outside of Algonquin and this video reminded me of that! Thank you!
Joe maybe you could of a series of videos of things you need know if you want to visit ____________. just make the series about the places you go in Canada.
Beautiful country up in your parts and another great video! Always enjoy them =) Haven't been on the Tube in a while, took me a minute to find your channel, hehe. Keep it up - and I don't think anyone would complain if you made longer videos, not shorter =)
can you do a video on how to setup a gill net and how to determine what size you need and and all that stuff. since you did it for a living it would be nice to get some info on it. ive never fished or used a net so its just for fun to learn.

20:20 i learned my lesson this weekend axing firewood. luckily its healing. safety glasses are no joke especially out in the wilderness.

You and Shawn are a great team. Looking forward to vids from your workshops.

Joe you need to come visa the Ozarks. No portages. Remote rivers all over the region. Northern Arkansas and southern Missouri.
Very cool that you guys got together. I like the shot of the 2 canoes and the channel logos side by side. Its like Batman vs Superman haha
Fourth video I've watched, the first 3 being your last solo trip. Really enjoyed it. Subbed.

double blade will be quickr on open water, but the small creeks and rivers, the single blade shines
