      It's a great gun that's easy to shoot and the lazer sight is a big help in quick target acquisition when sighted in.

    Just don't forget to remove the crimson trace laser! 😁👍

    any suggestion to get the battery housing out? i followed the manual for field stripping...and attempted to remove the battery housing from the crimson trace....purchased it 3/12/20....batteries been sitting in it since feb 2018, according to the mfr sticker date on the inside (after field stripping it) I think the batteries might have corroded and bonded it stuck . S&W wants me to send it in, but don't want to not to be w/out a firearm, until I can get another one. I loosened the screw as much as possible, and even applied constant pressure from below as I was loosening to ensure it has every opportunity to pop free.

    That was a nice video but having a shield for a few years now
    come to know it's a special Gun
    you missed some spots you didn't oil inside the barrel the locking lugs and don't forget the most important one it rust up like crazy that's the magazine release button let's not forget the return spring you didn't oil that either.

    It looks like your recoil spring assembly has copper/reddish color around the smaller spring, is that correct? Mine is that way, and I was wondering if that was abnormal. Most pictures show the springs being all silver.

      They don't put the same color spring in every firearm. We have a different one that has a black and blue spring as well.

    thanks for the video. do you know if clp or any cleaner will harm the laser?

    • @Billsgs
      @Billsgs  6 лет назад +1

      Firearm cleaner shouldn't have any effect on the laser.

    Anybody know how to remove the laser? I tried to remove it as it was instructed in the manual, but the screw just wouldn't loosen

      the screw doesn’t come out. u have to loosen it then get a knife or something u can stick in and use as a wedge

    • @kevinculligan9297
      @kevinculligan9297 4 года назад

      @@Cjaaaaaaay Use wedge to pry laser out of housing? I followed instructions, loosened screw and then used hex key in hole in frame under the laser closest to the trigger guard to push the laser out of the frame to replace battery, but it laser will not
      budge and i do not want to force it. Any ideas?
