    Do these allow the old indicator arms to screw onto them ?

    Been using these for about a year now. Would never think of using anything else. They are just too good at what they do. Abit fiddly to start with but once you get used to them they are excellent

      M8 are you still using these indicators? Do you have them in long or short version? Have you ever tested drop back on far distance?

    • @HelloCarp
      @HelloCarp Год назад +2

      @@RYCJK Yes mate still using them now. I have them in the short version due to the way I have my bank sticks placed. Sensitivity all round is really good. Drop back bites are also really clear when using the line clip and there is a lot of travel in the indicator arm so you get a good amount of noise from the buzzer. I have had drop backs at around 18/20 wraps out and never had an issue.

    Wow, it looks like a brilliant product & very well explained. I loved it. I have to say you get what you pay for & one thing about all solar products is that they are top quality 👌 I will definitely be ordering 3 of these, anything that good which helps you put more fish on the bank is definitely worth it. Keep up the great work CARPology & thank you for bringing these great products to our attention 👍

    Been using them for years since they first came out long time ago. Best by miles, simply love them.
    Not sure why you using the stiff arm with the slack line head tho , very odd. Also use the swing arm myself with the slack line method.

    I was very tempted by these. Bought the Sonik instead, but have a funny feeling I might part with the cash sooner or later...

      Hey, thanks for watching! Unfortunately I didn’t have any of the weights with me. But I would only use them at extreme distance, 120yards plus. The titanium arm does perfectly for anything else 👍

    All this bs about a bobbin which is not really necessary, a bottle top will do the same job. What matters is the rig, when a fish takes the bait, you should notice the rod flying off the rest, or at least hear the splash as the rod lands in the lake.😂

    A lot of marketing BS with these indicators. Titanium indicators made from P1 stainless components! There’s an oxymoron for you. The only part that is titanium is the spring arm, the rest is SS. Although Solar don’t like to mention what grade they are using on these. I’ll keep with my JAG indicators thanks.

      He says they made of stainless steel 🙈🙈😂

    • @DjDolHaus86
      @DjDolHaus86 Год назад +1

      It's not a structural component so the grade of stainless is unimportant, even the cheapest grade of stainless has more than adequate strength and corrosion resistant characteristics.

    • @stuartgreen7203
      @stuartgreen7203 Год назад

      @@fiestaturbo1287 you completely missed my point 🙄 I wasn’t referring to what the video had already said. It was Solar’s marketing of these products!

    • @stuartgreen7203
      @stuartgreen7203 Год назад

      @@DjDolHaus86 completely agree with you. But for what Solar are selling these for, I’d expect 316. £50 - £60+ for a full indicator including isotope, per rod, is mighty expensive.
