  • This is a ill designed tool which seems like a good idea on paper but in reality it really is no good, it uses a complex mechanism which is not good and the built in utility knife is ridiculous.

We used them for installing plastic and even tar paper on roofs. It was not the Fat Max but I have probably hammered a few thousand staples in my life. The one we did use looked alot like the FM and was pretty hefty.
I know it wasn't that little one if 3/8 was its max.
    Thanks for the video brother.

"Positively horrid tacker"...I like it. Thanks.

I have the Rapid and the Arrow Tomahawk. I prefer the Rapid and took the top bolt on the back side out and welded a thick washer onto the bolt. When installed, it now gives you a hammer surface to drive in staples that did not go in all the way.

In the south east, we would call that a stapler.
I think it uses t50 staples.

I wish you had some staples to demonstrate them in action.
