@@V3ntilatorYou must be young. Anyone's who says KKs is better than the Rob Halford version isn't a real fan. (and definitely younger than the bands inception). There are no vocals comparable to Rob. Just like Geoff, and dare I say Sebastian Bach IS Skid Row too. You can't replace iconic singers.
Todd ain't no fake! He is such an awesome singer. He always 120% tries hard to give us a wonderful time with great melodies. I really wish I had been there!!!!!😂
Todd is the real deal best thing that couldve happened to this band his solo record is excellent too a little different than the Queensryche material but if your into all things hard rock and heavy metal its worth a listen !

Few weeks ago I saw Geoff Tate with his young band performing the complete Operation Mindcrime. That was awesome. Tate is OM, he is Queensryche. Respect for Todd and the guys. But that's not Queensryche in my opinion.
I love this band so much, I grew up with them and their music got me through a lot of tough times. I just wish the best for them...I saw them open for Judas Priest on their last tour and it was just so ... ugh... sad, and not because they sounded bad, it just felt like they've been robbed somehow. Keep it up gents, I'll support you any way I can, tooth and nail.
Songs like this will KILL any and all singers that have to do this over and over every night. This song is hard to pull off in a recording studio in perfect condition with multiple comping track....and then you gotta do it live in one pass?...after you have already sang 10 hard songs before this one? Again,...these songs will kill every singer that does them.

Tate also spitted on Rockenfield's face, argued with other band members, mocked fans, hired other musicians to record different songs than those the original members had recorded, did cabaret shows, grabbed the cell phone of a fan and throw it away...just to name a few. All those mentioned incidents could belong to a band of low musical standards but unfortunately it is Queensrÿche's past and specifically Geoff Tate's actions. So enjoy the Todd La Torre era of Queensrÿche and give them a chance by attending a live show. Ryche 'n' Roll

I saw them in the early days and loved them with Geoff but he turned into a real diva (heard about some of the stuff you mentioned) so I'm just fine with this version. Todd works so hard and is a very humble dude and does a great job so I'm just fine with this version of Ryche.

I wish people would stop comparing it and relish the fact that 40 years later, they can hear new Queensryche material, and new Geoff material. It would've been easy for either to throw in the towel, they've made enough money, but they didn't because they love doing it and I'm ecstatic about that fact.

Chris hasn't been a touring member of QR since 1997. He wrote some songs with the band for the album Tribe in 2003 but hasn't done anything with the band since.
@@danielneal8644 Thanks for this update. I knew he was an important piece early on, but never heard what happened after. I saw them opening for Ozzy in 85 or 86 I think. They were so good live I couldn’t believe it. Thanks again!!
I really miss the band in their original lineup. I’m sure each one of them do as well as they were much bigger playing venues 10 times the size of this one on a normal basis. No disrespect to the current singer as he sounds really good, it just would have nice if the guys could have worked through their petty BS. All that hard work to get to where they were just to throw it all away over some childish bickering.
I certainly understand your feelings on this - he is not at the same level as Geoff Tate was, but neither is Geoff Tate. Still think Queensryche is good with this singer, and Geoff Tates version of Queensryche is good but not the same.

Geoff Tate singed this better at the same time as La Torre. Geoff got his old voice back.
Band splits often give us two good bands instead of one, if the differing parties are talented. The VH split, Judas Priest...twice!

Queensryche isn’t Queensryche without Geoff Tate! This new guy is a great singer but not as good as Geoff.
