Penn is right about circumcision. It is not necessary, and it removes normal, sensitive, erogenous tissue for no good reason. And not a small bit of skin either, because the adult foreskin is around 3x5 inches, or 15 square inches. It is something we should have put a stop to decades ago, yet it's somehow still very prevalent in the US.
I’m tired of it. I’m tired of all the bullsh!t excuses people use to justify it too. Why is it so hard for people to leave boys bodies alone. Until we get rid out religions that require it, boys will never be protected by law, the same way girls are.

@@brettsodrel6456 The cleanliness argument is completely a wash. It takes literally half a second to clean, and that half a second doesn't justify removing it, just the same as you wouldn't remove any other body part because it takes a second to clean it. And I do think the genital mutilation argument is apt. The original purpose of circumcision was to reduce pleasure and to stop boys from masturbating. The operation itself hasn't changed, only the reasonings around it have changed. Up until the sexual revolution parents would freely admit they were circumcising their kids to reduce pleasure, and it wasn't until after that that was no longer an acceptable reason. You just cannot unnecessarily remove an iPhone sized chunk of normal, sensitive, erogenous tissue and have that not be mutilation. Think of it this way: even a surgery that has the potential to be life saving, like open heart surgery, is mutilation if you do it to someone who doesn't need it. The exact same is true with circumcision, and even much more so because it's not even close to life saving.

Penn's half right about the theramin in Good Vibrations. He's right about it not being a regular theramin but it wasn't a synthesizer patch either, it was an 'electro-theramin' that was created by Paul Tanner, the guy actually playing it on the record.
More notably, was Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin's use of the instrument, during Zeppelin's live shows, where Robert Plant's vocals would mimic the shrill cries Page produced on the Theremin, on songs like "Dazed and Confused" and "Whole Lotta Love".
