    Penn is right about circumcision. It is not necessary, and it removes normal, sensitive, erogenous tissue for no good reason. And not a small bit of skin either, because the adult foreskin is around 3x5 inches, or 15 square inches. It is something we should have put a stop to decades ago, yet it's somehow still very prevalent in the US.

    • @renny6151

      I’m tired of it. I’m tired of all the bullsh!t excuses people use to justify it too. Why is it so hard for people to leave boys bodies alone. Until we get rid out religions that require it, boys will never be protected by law, the same way girls are.

    • @rickcanty
      @rickcanty Год назад

      @@renny6151 Same. It is ridiculous that people think it's just perfectly fine to strip boys of their bodily autonomy, one of the most fundamental rights there is. Even when left intact, people won't leave boys bodies alone, and will do things like forced retraction. There is truly no excuse for this to still be happening in the 21st century.

      Back in the day, "Bullshit" was a huge help to me registering thousands of people into the Libertarian Party of Alaska. It made libertarianism hip and cool...and featured surprisingly good research. Fast-forwarding to 2020...Penn Jillette advocated voting for the literal legislative architect of the drug war...
      I'm not so sure we need Bullshit again...if Penn can't see through that particularly disease-infected and stinking load of said metaphorical matter...

    Penn's half right about the theramin in Good Vibrations. He's right about it not being a regular theramin but it wasn't a synthesizer patch either, it was an 'electro-theramin' that was created by Paul Tanner, the guy actually playing it on the record.

    When I was in school they used to teach that our system was designed to make the errorr where they let the guilty man go free instead of making the mistake of imprisoning an innocent man so I agree with him that the OJ verdict was an instance where the system worked exactly as it was designed to but the problem is you have to be really rich to have the system work the way it was designed.

    • @mattnj211
      @mattnj211 8 месяцев назад

      OJ was guilty and the only reason he got freed was because he was black and rich and had the “dream team” defending him and making everything about race. Also the jury was 9 blacks, 1 Hispanic, and 2 whites. 5 members of the jury said before it even began they didn’t believe OJ was likely to be a murderer just because he was an athlete…oh and all the jurors were democrats.😂 I think now that we have hindsight we can clearly see what really happened in that verdict.
