Hi Chris. Thanks for the great review of hotel. I love how the greenery blends into the surroundings of hotel. The swimming pools are wonderful with the view of the city. Very nice and comfortable room with a nice view and great modern features.. I wish the shower had a hand held shower to go along with the overhead shower. One of the best hotels you stayed at and reviewed. I guess it pays to be Elite.Thanks again and take care.

Awesome hotel. Stayed there for F1 in 2023. I couldn’t ask for any better. I’ve also stayed at orchard Marriott and the Conrad. Singapore is beautiful
I was shocked when I got upgraded for free sometimes with only sliver level at other Marriott brand hotel😅 I think is up to the hotel discretion if they want to upgrade you if you only have gold level and below as I was frequently staying in that hotel every week 😅
I would love to stay there, but $$$$. When I was working I would accumulate enough points each year for a 5 - 7 night stay at JW's around the world. Now that I've retired we choose cheaper options.😂 We've stayed at the Orchard Marriott many times as Singapore is a favorite city. Now we have been going to KL a lot since the Ritz in KL is only $130/day. And Malaysia costs what Singapore used to 20 years ago. Me so cheap!😁
I'm 8 nights from Titanium this year. Spent 2 months in Malaysia this year...December road trip to Socal, AZ, Las Vegas. Staying at cheaper Marriotts...or maybe the credit card for 15 night credit? The games we have to play...🤪

Is that near the Durian building? You know, the building made to look like a durian fruit?
Those 7-11s are a life saver. I was able to get my American beer cheap there, even though I love the Tiger Beer in Singapore.
I was able to stay in the Marina Bay Sands for about the same price you paid here. I would highly recommend staying there just for the infinity pool and it's views.

Hmm. I guess I didn't cover that in my review did I? It's been about 10 months since I've been there so my memory could be a bit fuzzy but I do believe there were some US type outlets on the desk

What Marriott elite do you have to be to get free buffet breakfast? Silver gold or platinum? How do you get the free breakfast? Do they give it to you when you checkin and just show them your membership?
Platinum, Titanium or Ambassador for lounge access and free breakfast. You tell them your room number at the lounge and they look up your elite level then let you in
Amazing how the same brand hotels are 10x better in Asia than their US peers; and are cheaper to boot. I knew I was doing the right thing when I expatted to Asia over twenty years ago. People in America get ripped new ones daily!
The first 5-topher rating I can remember, but I’m sure there’s been a couple before.

I guess it’s worth it if you’re an “elite member “. $50 for breakfast and $100 for a buffet dinner is crazy, I’d much rather stay closer to the amazing food hawkers at a not so glitzy hotel. But TETO 😊
Yeah. I wouldn't pay $50 for breakfast-- and also yes.. I wish this hotel was closer to a Hawker centre
Rather than paying $50 for breakfast, I think I would just buy kaya toast for way less
Stayed at the Marina Bay Sands View Premier suite. Found a cockroach in my room 🥲 managed to get 10,000 points for the inconvenience
