MAN, OPETH'S SONGS ARE HARD TO PLAY AND SING AT THE SAME TIME. MIKAEL DOES THIS VERY MASTERLY. THE ACCOUSTIC PART IS THE BEST EXAMPLE!

@@francismcalister7811 He doesn't need to do it now because you have a more techinical player like Fredrik (Peter is amazing but is no Fredrik)
When Peter was in the band, Both Mike and Peter played the same they did on studio. It was when Fredrik joined that Mike decided to leave the hardest bits on him, but not because Peter couldn't play them, just because they had that agreement from the very start.
@@francismcalister7811 He still does that in several songs. For example The Leper Affinity (Both Fredrik and Mikael) and bridge part in Porcelain Heart
Mendez and Lopez are killing this.
The blast beat in the "comeback" part (9:00) suited very well! Impossible not to headbang in this part. Amazing footage!

Lopez' kit sounds INCREDIBLE. The live flow of Lopez/Lindgren era Opeth was amazing. Opeth now plays without any sort of passion and energy.

Absolutely - I have recordings of 18 or 19 of the 25 times they played it live. A good few videos in there too. I planned to release one for Morningrise's 25th anniversary, but I've been asked to stop sharing until further notice. Hopefully I can work things out soon.
