    I bought this for my 81 mustang. After reading the small instructions then watching your video. It was easy to install. Great item for sense of security when it comes to tire pressure on these older type cars. Thanks

      Yes. Also, it would make this unit so much better if I could program it with my internal sensors.

    I have owned these for about 3 months. I have found them to be accurate and a great way to get this vital information continually (I drive 250 miles per day) WHEN THEY WORK CORRECTLY!
    Unfortunately I have had 2 of the rubber seals stay stuck in the valve stem (dig out and reseat), two of them freak out and give false alarms after rainy periods and weather temperature swings and I just had one stop reading completely. Took it off, opened up and reseated the battery and blew out to rid any moisture. Not only did that not work, but this morning when I put it back on, 2 more sensors had stopped communicating completely. Maybe it's the batteries? I don't know, but if I can't solve, I will be contacting the company for a refund.

    Good review. I wouldn’t trust the gauge on any compressor, especially with a long hose. Buy a good gauge for more accuracy, they are only $10 - $20. I’m looking to get one of the newer versions of this. How long did it last?

    I'm good if this thing saves me from losing a tire if it goes down. OEM would require expensive work to replace the batteries. This way 40 bucks less than what it would cost for one tire to get fixed I got all four.

    Hi, thanks for this amazing video, i just bought these, one question: how do u inflate the tires? by unplugging these? that means i need to have that screwdriver in the car all the time?

    • @UrbanMasterExperiment
      @UrbanMasterExperiment  2 года назад +1

      Thank you!
      Yes, unfortunately to inflate the tire, you would need to remove the sensor.

    • @dandyfunhouse

      Just screw it off just like a valve stem cap. Don't use the lock nuts. Those will drive you nuts. Be sure to put 2 fingers on the underside of the sensor when you screw off and don't just turn by the cap otherwise you'll screw the cap off.

    Fitted this to my single axle caravan. Instructions say that the tyre pressures will show on monitor for front ones and 0 on rear ones.
    Mine shows correct for caravan but instead of 0 it shows 36, any ideas how to set this to nil.

    DO NOT PUT THESE ON! I purchased and put these on my vehicle and 6 months later when I needed to add air to the tire they WILL NOT COME OFF! They are corroded on and I had to replace a valve stem that cost me more then replacing the stupid batteries in the vehicles OEM TPMS system.

    • @dandyfunhouse
      @dandyfunhouse 8 месяцев назад

      To be fair, you should probably be correcting / adjusting your tire pressure regularly enough to where this would never have an opportunity to happen

      @Goldylocksss 5 месяцев назад +1

      It is extremely common issue, have used these for years and learned the hard way with same problem it is called galvanic corrosion and you CANNOT get them off..You MUST smear copper grease onto the tyre valve stem prior to attaching the locking nut and tpms valve in order to prevent this occurring. Also check/unscrew the tpms valve every month or so to keep a check on them..😊😊

    Great review. It would be helpful next time to drain a tire down to 20 ish and then over inflate to 40 ish, just to see if the device is still somewhat accurate. My rechargeable air compressor isn't very accurate. I have to preset it to 39psi, to get my tires at about 34. I'd always recommend keeping 2 very traditional non-electric tire gauges in your car and averaging the 2 readings. Can you please add in the description the brand name ( ZMOON ? ), and where you bought, and how much ? The super tiny font instructions do really suck.

  • @jimholmes2555

    • @UrbanMasterExperiment
