My boyfriend came home late one night after bowling. He came home so excited bouncing up and down. And with much curiosity I asked what had him so excited. He quickly pulled out this CD, popped it in the player and exclaimed he had found our song! It was true we both had broken roads that led us to each other. We had both been married before and hurt by others. I couldn't agree with him more. We were married a few months later, we had the most beautiful wedding. Just six months after our wedding he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. I was with him every step of the way, I went to every chemo therapy , every surgery and every doctors appointment. And after it had spread to his brain and he began to have seizures I took a leave of absence from work to be with him. And then some four and a half years later I watched him step into eternity. He was such a trooper and never complained not even once, he handled the cancer and his eventual death with such grace. The Lord knew that I needed him and he needed me and I do believe this song more than fits us. I just love this song. He's been gone for eight years now and this song still brings a smile to my face.

This is an amazing and emotional song and I don't want to take away from that, but can we appreciate how he sounds almost exactly the same in the live and studio versions? The mark of true talent.

Yes...This is me..I'm only 14 but I have been through so much and all that I have been through I have pushed through it and survived here I am stronger than i can ever be because of how my parents treated me..I know i don't have the worst life..I don't have the best life..Someone has it worse than me somewhere every day and I show mercy for them..Someone has better than me somewhere and I don't show mercy because they can be trying to help people get through rough times but at the same time I am happy for them because no one deserves be treated like a pile of crap and that is how a lot of people are treated and it should not be the case

Such a gorgeous song. I heard this for the first time when my friend Sol Christie sang it on his live streams and I fell in love with it straight away. These lyrics are so heartfelt, emotive, thought provoking and deep. I feel like all our roads have been broken this past 18 months due to covid but that has led me to finding so many friends that I wouldn't of found including Sol himself and I can't put into words how grateful I am for them all being in my life I am one lucky girl to have them in my life ❤
