I just saw her here in Portland, Oregon, USA. She turned 81 in January, and is absolutely fantastic! An amazing and talented performer. Thanks for this video, I got to see the same song live here in Portland.
truly one of a kind im only 23 yrs old but its entertainers like MS.Eartha that are the epitime of music to me and i wish ppl would look back and give ppl like her the credit they deserve RIP Ms. Kitt

Thanks you so much for posting this vdeio govecomm. I just saw her perform this past Monday -- her 80th birthday celebration here in NY. At 80, she is still amazing. Her voice is shockingly good! I hope someone has a clip of that to post! Thanks again. She was older than 65 in this performance here!!!

This is the show, and among the best show. There are only a few people like that, little gems that must be cherished who reconcile us with the human in all its senses. Still, Eartha gives me more than a smile, good vibrations everywhere.

Had Pleasure to see Ms. Kitt at Demitrios Jazz Alley in Seattle. After Show wanted to take a Picture with Her But My Camera Didn't Work and Still Regret that. But oh well, She gave a Great Concert at this somewhat Small but Quant Supper Club.

She was so smart to learn French and sing it being a American !
I wish someone hadn't stolen my VHS of her in Germany .. I can't find th St Louis Blues part anywhere .. :( ,, I literally cried on Christmas when I found out she passed .. :(

I could listen to her talk and sing in French for hours and never get bored
ALSO she sang a German song called: "Johnny, _________" she took that harsh sounding language of German and sang that song soooo softly and pretty like a Lullaby There is a youtube video of her singing it on a German variety TV show and she is beautiful
