I'm testing that now, I'll update this thread once it runs out. The manufacturer replied, saying that it depends how much water you fill up. I added the max amount in the first fill, around 900ml.
Hey I am looking at 850 unit. I have seen reviews from multiple owners of Newair 1500 units and they are unhappy because the units have a big difference in humidity on different shelves. They are saying that’s because new air units don’t have internal circulation fans the way Raching does. Those circulation fans are different from cooling and humidity fans. All they do is circulate air internally to even out the temperature and humidity throughout the unit. I was wondering if your 1200 count unit has anything like that
Hello. This unit has internal fans. I checked the humidity shelf by shelf multiple times, and the difference was 1%, which is negligible in my opinion.
Hey there, its been a couple of months. How's the unit holding up? Is the humidity staying level top to bottom? Any issues so far? I just purchased the bigger size but wondering if I should have paid extra and purchased the Ranching.
Hey Brandon, everything is going well so far. The humidity is stable, I haven't changed the water yet, and it's easy to control. I haven't tested the other brand you mentioned, but the one I have delivers a lot for the price.
Hey man, thanks for the only review about this brand in youtube. Ive been thinking getting the 800 capacity one, I can see that its been a month since you made a review. Can you share your updated thoughts please, how long the water lasted, is the hygrometer accurate, how noisy ist it, etc. Thanks in advance
@@ozgurdogan2064 I just purchased a bigger one and its in transit, but i wonder if i should have paid extra and purchased a Ranching. There are little to no reviews on Afidano.
Everything is going well so far. The humidity is stable (1-2% difference from top to bottom shelves). I haven't changed the water yet, and it's easy to control. The hygrometer has been varying a bit in the last couple of weeks, but I contacted customer service and they helped me to calibrate it.
They're about 16x16. They say the offer the drawers, but I just went threw a whole ordeal with them, paid the money and then was told they couldn't be shipped unless I paid another $260 and they couldn't guarantee they would show up in one piece or not. I finally got a refund and I'm going to build my own shelves for less than half the cost they wanted.
Does this have a compressor to cool down the humidor? Or just fan setup?
HPR temperature and humidity system as per the manual and their specs in the website

How’s it holding up so far?
@@brandonbehringer3234 all good so far, the water level in the dispenser is almost the same as the initial fill
@@CigarMasterclass how’s the RH and temps holding? Are the staying the same top and bottom?
@@brandonbehringer3234 there was a max of 2% difference from the top to bottom shelves

How is the humidor working? Is the humidity stable and assertive?
Still stable, varying 1-2% max

nice one, but you can try Raching
I could try it too
Nice reply, but you can try Afidano, too
Yours prices raching..... Could be a little cheaper , hence why people are shopping other options

Great looking humidor. Bad lightning design.
Indeed something they could improve on that model
