My wife got me this exact humidor for our anniversary in February, I love it. My only issue is the light. I wish the lighting when down the side. Other than that, I love it!
The light on this one is actually better than others in this price range, though as you mention, it would certainly be improved if there were more lights down the sides as opposed to just a single one at the top. Rafael
I'd plug it in and leave a hygrometer in there for a couple of hours without cigars. See what the RH is inside and then if too low, throw in the 84% packs for a few days as you state. However, using the 84% packs shouldn't be necessary. Rafael

I just ordered one! I know it’s no seasoning required but what did u do before putting the sticks in? Like drop in some 84% packs for a few days?
