Great review. I'm new to Humidors and would like to pick one of these up. What I don't understand is if I'm going to use a Boveda pack, let's say at 69%, what's the point of having the unit control the humidity since the Boveda technically should be maintaining it. Thanks for any help on this.
Hey man, great question. As it was explained to me, adjusting the humidity level on the dial simply makes the humidor blow its fan more vigorously or more often to circulate more humidity throughout the cabinet.
@@MrSticky707 with these cabinets that have just cedar shelves and not entirely lined with cedar it is NOT necessary or even advisable to season these things. I do recommend wiping out the interior with a damp cloth and allowing it to dry before filling it up with cigars.
Great, now my OG one is obsolete. Bovedas work just fine though I guess. And cold cigars are fine. I'm just coping. Where do you put the water?
@@maillardsbearcat there is a small reservoir in the bottom of this cabinet, but I just put my boveda there

Gotcha thanks for the response!
