    I mix about a teaspoon of this stuff with water in a small spray bottle (approx 150ml) and use this as a detangler after every wear, better than any of the detanglers/conditioners i've tried x

      @@cg4806 I've never done the overnight bag thing but I do use the stuff to condition after washing. I let the fibres drip dry a bit then put the conditoner on (avoiding knots). I do leave it on overnight just because its convenient but just chuck it in a bowl. This, combined with the daily spray seems to keep them in good condition. Once they get the a certain point of frizziness I think the only real solution is heat or steam x

    I use this product. It helps, but heat/steam is still necessary. You are correct. Thanks for addressing this. Yes, it needs A LOT of rinsing after use!❤

    I just did this, starting yesterday evening, and the softness is amazing. But the smell is really strong. Does the smell fade, or did I not rinse it enough?

    HI again, Can you use the steamer of the heat friendly as well or is it better to use heat styler instead?

    • @chiquelwigs
      @chiquelwigs  3 месяца назад +1

      You can use a steamer if you’d like. ❤️ I prefer actual styling tools and spraying with water for heat friendly fibers though.

  • @Stacy-o3h
    @Stacy-o3h 3 месяца назад

    HI, Does it help to still treat heat friendly wigs with this treatment of bamboo silicone? What benefit is there if you still need to use heat for the frizzies?

    • @chiquelwigs
      @chiquelwigs  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes it still helps! The heat makes the fibers all smooth again, but the silicone brings a light and fluffy and “new” feeling texture to the fibers. 🥰

      @@chiquelwigs thank you so much, Another quick question. Is it okay to apply heat to your wig if they have been worn or with products? Otherwise not freshly washed. Just to keep them frizz free.

    • @chiquelwigs
      @chiquelwigs  3 месяца назад

      @@Stacy-o3h yes, that’s ok if they have been worn! But if there is a lot of product on it I would wash beforehand. ❤️

    Question: Synthetic hair does absorb does it? Just wondered how it helps to let the silicone sit for overnight.

    • @chiquelwigs
      @chiquelwigs  7 месяцев назад +2

      It doesn’t absorb but the longer you leave it on, the softer it makes the fibers. 😊Just like I mention in the video, a few hours is fine, but I just do mine over night for the convenience ❤❤

  • @Tammie_OBrien

    Is it okay to use this on HF fibres too? I have a couple of clumpy RW wigs that I have tried washing and using heat on. They’re still pretty clumpy and waxy feeling. 🤷🏻‍♀️
