Can you use junk silver for barter? Is Junk silver can also be called constitutional silver or 90% silver. Junk silver coins are us mint quarters, dimes, and half dollars minted before 1965. I love silver stacking junk silver and I think it is a great way to store wealth in precious metals
Topics I cover in this video: junk silver, silver seeker, smart silver stacker, silver coins, junk silver coins, junk silver coin, constitutional silver, 90% silver, 90 percent silver, junk silver dime, junk silver quarter, junk silver half dollar, junk silver halves, sd bullion, sd bullion vault, bags of junk silver, junk silver bags, junk silver face value, junk silver value, value of junk silver, junk silver stacking, silver stacking, silver stacking junk silver, silver, buy silver, buying silver, silver 2024, should I buy silver, what silver to buy, what silver is best
It's only junk when you go to sell to a dealer but high dollar historical value when you buy from dealer
Nailed it!!
Franklin halves are my favorite.
True I like Walking halves better, but Franklins are under rated IMO
I really like to call it constitutional silver myself.
Not Junk!
Ooh, crossover episode of 3 channels I subscribe to!
Looks more like $32,000 of halves. $500 face bags. 1,000 per bag. At least 4 layers of 16. 64,000 halves. Badass
How about all of the bread loaf size bars there? Wow.
"Junk silver" is there such a thing?? Plus.. never mind the silver content, 32000 half's thats 16k, (for those that can't do basic math)
And now it's worth around 300k.😊
Yeah each half has 0.36169 ounces of silver so 32,000 of them have a total of 11,574.08 ounces of silver at today's silvers price around 24.40 per ounce that's $282,407.55 yeah that's a lot of money's worth of junk silver
Absolutely love stacking 90%!
Three amigos of the Silver gang
I love 90% silver! That is the only thing I stack!
Same with me
When you say stacking are you actually meaning saving?
Saving, hoarding, collecting it's all the same
What drove the paper to silver ratio from 165:1 to 465:1 yesturday?
Never bought junk silver yet. Not sure why.
You should! Half my stack is Constitutional.
Best way to own fractional silver!!
Mercury Dimes ftw
Whats cool about mercury dimes? Just curious, i have about 70 myself and mehh theyre just ok lol thats my thoughts. I like morgans and peace dollars @@Dark_Knight_Cowboy
@@brucehansen7949 Mercury dimes are good, because they are easily distinguishable from regular dimes. In shtf, you wont have to bother lookin’ at the dates
I got about 16lbs of 90 percent. It's my favorite silver to stack by far.
Want to get lunch...seriously do t post this info on the internet old-timer for your safety
@@mrt2683You pull their IP yet neonate? 😊
You want the real truth explained!? Here is it for broken down. I have spent SO much of silver and gold premiums!! Seriously!! Hundreds and hundreds of dollars on premiums. The only ones making any real margins are the gold and silver buyers and all the coin dealers. These folks are not your friends, they are just sales people running a business! Now that’s the real truth!!
Well are you up after premiums? The coin shops have to make money. A grocery store charges a premium on everything, you paid a premium for your TV, car, even your toilet paper. No business sells anything for the raw, unprocessed material cost. You can find a miner that might sell you his unprocessed ore and you can extract, refine and pour it yourself if you think it will be cheaper. I refine silver and it's not a quick or cheap process.
I've only ever seen genuinely large amount of 90% once in my life and what I saw was less than that. Awesome!
Please stop calling it junk... Call it constitutional silver. It is what it is
Ok Karen.

I agree with junk because it’s junk. Collect real silver bullion.
@@jeffsocialmarketing2146 or refine the "junk" silver into fine silver 🤷
@@jeffsocialmarketing2146I’ll never understand this low iq mindset of collectors. “Hurrrr it’s real money!!!….. but uhhh yes it has to be legal coins and fancy stamped bars!!! It’s not worth as much if its just like… silver bro!”
In 1980, when silver was $50 an ounce, I went to a coin show where they were buying. There was a 15 foot truck outside, with armed guards. In that truck were buckets full of silver. They bought all day and that truck was squatting when it left. There were a lot of coins melted then. I was 12 and had two rolls of BU 1964 JFK halves and refused the $400 I was offered. That was a lot of money back then and a lot for a kid. It was about half the silver value. Then the bottom dropped out. This video was a nice amount but that was insane back then.
I wonder how much of the silver in that truck got melted down!

You have so much fun!!!!!!!!
Don't get fooled into the thinking PMS are a good investment. Constitutional isn't worth the hype dealers have no problem melting it even for all its historical value
Good hope they melt more and make older coins more rare so their value increases. Fine by me. Seems like a solid investment, your in the wrong place to say it's not
Junk silver 😂
that's quite a funny name, I'm sure that no harm is really meant..
Anyway coming from the UK where Sterling silver (925) is common, I've always known 900 silver as 'Italian' silver..
how much of it is actually from that country I have no idea
Wow you guys are sitting on a lot of junk Just think what you can buy with one of those silver half dollars From where I live it'll buy you about About 4 gallons of gas And if it's a John F 1970 it'll take 7 of them to buy gallon of gas
tbh seeing that guy there brings discredit to SD. I wouldn't buy from them.
That's wonderful just to think how many comments and Views got you to where you're at and those people got nothing for it why don't you people try being humble
And I can’t two pieces of silver in a box from the bank. Go figure. 😢
Is all of that junk silver tested by SD Bullion? I’ve always been interested but this stuff can still be counterfeited.
Useless. It costs too much to convert to anything useful.
I stack all 90% halves. Just seperate the AU/BU from the rest.
Bro throwing the coins damaging them.
No, just silver value!
Junk silver isn't exactly mint state lol
First love your videos
Hey Dragon, where is that, what city. Does anyone know for sure.
Because people are really gonna trade for your silver and not shoot you in the face when it hits the fan😂
How bout Liberty dollars, any real value w those?
I actually prefer fractional rounds
And what’s this locations exact address?
Stop scratching the junk.
you have to cRry it if riots happens
Save some for the rest of us
How much is your local coin shop selling $1 for? Mine is $21
17 to 18
" One of my favorite things to stack " I call b.s. . For the money it's not the best price per ounce.
But they're not making it anymore, and anytime there's a run into physical bullion supplies dry up immediately. I'm ok paying current premiums for junk silver
where to buy
What a great honor to be able to own coins minted with JFK
Fake
Wow
One of the best things to stack right now!
Dag gone at the point bring on the gold we got plenty of silver 😂😂😂😂😂
I love junk silver but I only collect BU which typically costs more unfortunately.
A bunch of nitric acid and that "junk" silver can be turned into fine silver. Although, I'm sure some of the coins are worth more than just their silver weight.
Any old pours or vintage silver? Market is Red Hot!
So diving into piles of silver coins like Scrooge McDuck is unadvisable?
Love the merc dimes and walking liberty’s.
Not fun paying 20% on silver over spot VS faster moving assets
Exactly what should an aluminum penny weigh?
I collected all I love it I'll follow you guys and watch videos all day when I'm not working and looking at coins
Every stackers dream stash! 😎
I would love. One of. Those bags.
We have to start transacting in it if we want it to go up
I love halves. How many half’s to u need to have 1 oz of silver. I know it’s about 5 quarters. But half’s? I don’t know. I’m guessing 2.3?
Every $1.40 face value of .90% dimes, quarters, and halves is 1 Troy ounce of silver.
Got lots of this. Not enough but more than most
I could live there! 😂
Now I know why it's so hard to get a few early 60' half dollars to complete a couple sets for my grandkids
Hell yeah amazing great video
What channel has the full video?
The three wisemen!.... ohhh yeah!😂
Funny i follow all of you guys
Do you look for error coins?
Like a kid in a toy store
JUNK!!!!!!
DIIIBBBSSSSS!
Love it...
Cool!!😮
Awesome 👍😎
WOW!
Guys, it’s not just Silver and Gold. Gems too. Think about it. AU n Silver come from rocks, so do Gems. Yet, it’s hard to get the fine metals out and most often takes resources that are toxic, while gems are already naturally available for easy trading. I’d recommend people Stack Gems too if you’re going to actively prepare for any kind of financial crisis involving fiat currencies. They will always hold value, just like AU n .999.
Take a look into what you’re missing out on. Expand the portfolio, have more options🤘😎💎
It’s good to see a trans person stacking. 🏳️⚧️ Love the equality. Nice lipstick.

Kiddy diddlers are done in November...equality 🙏
Women's bathroom and sports rights are coming back...bet u mad
That’s an impressive collection.
THEY SELL IT ON LINE NOT SOME POP COIN SHOP IN A MINI MALL OR SOME DECAYING DOWNTOWN. THEY BUY IT WHOLESALE AND SELL IT RETAIL. THEY BUY AT SPOT AND SELL IT FOR $2-$3 ABOVE SPOT. THEY PROFIT FROM SELLING BULK QUANITY.
