I want to buy Japanese Products, made in Japan (or least Japanese Distributor). I want to take advantage of the dollar/Yen rate, ie exchange rate. I think the middle man is taking a bigger cut and not passing the lower exchange rate (145 yen/dollar). The problem I hear is product stuck on a boat. So, could it be cost effective to ship by air? The products I would be buying are small and don't weigh much, ie Noodle, Knives and maybe some digital rice cooker. Here is an example of a product that I liked "Sapporo Ichiban Kitsune Udon" but not available now. There are more but need to search a Japanese catalog. Any suggestions?
